Woodbury had a hold a Haas before that foul. Should have been a foul on woody if the officials would call it tighter. They are letting him get away with a lot.
Is it just me or have the refs been going easy on Iowa? I know there is such a thing called home court advantage but they've been doing illegal screen all day long. Their big guys have been sliding sideways while setting screen so often that I thought they were playing on ice!
.........I'll add that they like to use that off hand when driving, etc too LOL
I should have added the qualifier.....this is where I think CMP has to get on the officials at some point.....maybe to the point of getting T'd up......not necessarily in this game but sometime. Otherwise, I don't see the "pattern" changing. JMO.
Please tell me Woodbury is a senior.
Oh and on a personal note "Woodbury, kiss my ass." This is like weekly stuff with him. I have to give him credit though, he gets away with it.
if haas really landed an elbow to Woodbury's face, he'd be on the ground and wouldn't get back up. I have no respect for him. Such a bush league move. Wish you could fine his punk ass,

Our 2 bigs have a combined 4 shot attempts. We need to be more balanced - what happened to our inside/out game? We're shooting 54% from 3 right now - it's not gonna hold up.
Also, Swanigan needs to just flat out play smarter. He's a love/hate relationship kinda guy. He does a completely moronic thing then goes and does a great thing.
Turnovers have to keep down. Killing us! We are out rebounding Iowa by 7 and Iowa had more shot attempts.
First half thoughts:
1) great intensity and shot selection. Hope it continues into the 2nd.
2) Why did Painter take PJ out around the 5:10 mark after he just hit 3 threes and nearly forced a turnover?
3) Caleb and Vince look a little out of sorts. Vince is having trouble establishing himself offensively. Vince has mishandled a few routine boards. Is it Iowa's physical presence? Nerves? Pressing a little?
