Painter doesn't coach shooting in practice, or otherwise -- I've asked him this on his call-in radio show. Keady was the same way. Players are responsible for working on their shot, on their own, and if they're in a slump, it's up to them to work through it on their own time. Not that Painter coaching shooting would help -- he was a terrible streak shooter himself.
