His presser said it all. Blamed it all on lack of experience. But that’s his approach. Picked up schifino last year knowing he was a one and done and picked up Mbako late after his parents said he was a one and done. So he has a transfer, senior, sophomore, and sophomore as his other top 4, and that is only half the season he had a sixth year PG for half the season. Guess what, that’s the same makeup as Purdue. And next year won’t be better as he loses X, ware, mbako, and anyone else who transfers.

Buckner is a great person. Smart, articulate, and reasonable. That's why.

I used to be an Atlanta Hawks fan, and I was mystified why he lasted so long as coach there. He has always achieved less than expected given the talent available to him. I hope Indiana signs him to a contract extension soon.

I sat a few rows behind the Hawks bench at a Pacers game when Woody was the head coach. Mostly just stood there, very little energy or emotion. Didn’t say much.

He actually didn't use 2 in the first half. The graphic was wrong. The refs were looking at the clock and the graphic took a timeout off the board instead.

He used 3 in the first half . He used one early, the second was at around 630 which was super weird because they actually were playing us well then, it allowed Edey to come in, and it was to be a tv timeout, and then he used a third when they got an inbound pass with 0.3 seconds left.

More trouble in Bloomington, they lost out on another recruit. Derrick Queen who is a teammate of Liam McNeely is looking like a lock for Maryland.

Couple that is his bizarre comments about his future at IU and their ugly jerseys the other day, not a good week. Did I also mention that Houston might now be #1 ranked team after UCONNs loss?!?

He threw his forward under the bus. Used word awful. Also blamed their struggles on not having X, a guy that was given a 6th year in late April after transfers, signing class, etc was done. He was ready to go into this year without him and everyone else generally has been healthy but now all of the sudden he is the reason they stink.

People are speculating he will get one more year. He will be 67 next March. Everyone is recruiting against him with that and he’s not going to get many 3-4 year players. Not a great idea to hire a 63 year old. And they hired an old fart for football too.

I'm sure this will be discussed else where but 100% on Houston at #1 if they win at Baylor. It will be interesting to see how #2 plays out if Purdue and UConn both win their remaining games this week.

Logic would seem to dictate that UConn would stay at #2 given that voters had them in front of Purdue prior to both dropping a game but there's some convoluted rationale that goes into that voting and some are likely to punish UConn simply for losing more recently or actually take a look at the complete resumes given that both have taken a loss.

Depends on who they could get to replace him. I suspect that they'll reach out to gauge interest if they're not doing so already. Far better to live with Woody for another year than to make a bad hire.
