Might be too much of a hill to climb now.....getting a little redundant....this game was there for the taking with better execution. Boilers took Dosunmu out of the game in the second half...not easy to do.

Turnovers and poor decision making cost us this game. Both of those are one in the same really, but still.

Which are signs of a young team and I expect to see those get less and less as the season goes on.

Still and all, this game has been called fairly evenly. If we lose, it is not on the refs. Illinois has hit a shit load of threes. They are good.

I would agree with except our juniors are the ones who make the majority of the mistakes. Tre still can’t hit a free throw, Sasha can’t guard anyone and Hunter has disappeared the last two weeks. Not good signs from juniors and that’s what will hold this team back.

Jaden Ivey can, but he's been so inconsistent on offense right now.....Newman has flashes (but breakdowns too), but EH is the most steady on that side IMO.

Yeah but even those leaders are "young" technically. Forgot where I heard it, but this is the first time in history we haven't had a senior on the team.

I would really like to see Newman take over being a leader. I think he has the mentality.
