Wow, up 6 after all that. Sasha was huge! Need the refs to swallow the whistle next half so our bigs can get going.
Really wish they’d call UNC for holding Ivey every time he drives. That’s the frustrating thing about playing these “name” teams. Our bigs are on the bench with foul trouble and UNC is playing as physical as they choose.
Solid half all things considered. Come out and establish Zach here in the second half.

He’s fun to watch. IMO, he’s got a higher ceiling than Cardinal.
We will battle the refs all year maybe even cost us a couple games. Need to get sasha open more in second half

The kid is better than advertised. Incredibly impressed with him.
If we can quit slipping and sliding, I feel good about our chances.
At least in the 2nd half we can alternate Edey and Williams all half unless we happen to get screwed over by more Carolina whistles.
Amazing how calm and under control he is for a true freshman. Totally lets the game come to him...
Yes - hope you're right, TC. Purdue just needs a solid effort and match the intensity. Up six at the half is not bad.....would be nice if they can add to it the first 5-6 minutes.
Furst is gonna get a lot of open threes and if he hits them at a decent clip, it’s gonna give us another dimension and give us lineups where all 5 guys are all legitimate threats from deep.
After reading the IU message board, I really had pretty low expectations for him. Those guys usually know what they are talking about. TIC

1 - Staying in the lead at half when your 2 stud centers have only 4 shots and have been on the bench is very encouraging
2 - how awesome is it to have a player like furst be able to step in as the third center during situations like this?!
