Great loss

The experience of a loss against a Shaka Smart defense on road in November, just might be what keeps the Boilers from stubbing their toe on the road against similar former VCU defensive coach at Penn St in December.

@ Penn St is definitely winnable, but will not be cakewalk as they look improved. Hopefully @ Marquette will pay off in that one.

If, big IF, this team wins B1G it will be because they scheduled tough, took some early hard lessons, and had most of kinks worked out when B1G play hits.

You know Rutgers & Penn State will try it. Baldwin good enough to execute. Can Rutgers coach get their guys to buy into the D needed? Coach certainly good enough. New R kids D will?

But I wouldn't stop there. It's coming from more than those two. A matter of do they have the personnel to execute that type of D will be the difference.

In any case, Purdue will get a heavy dose this whole year.

Great loss

There are a couple that will likely rival Marquette. Auburn is very good defensively. And UCLA has the best defensive guard in the Big Ten in Kobe Johnson and very good size.

Speculation from Spartanwire.

How many start who were originally recruited to IU?
5 on offense and 3 on defense. They had two starting tackles transfer before the coaching change that now start for Auburn and Colorado, so even with them it would still have been 5 offense. One WR and all the OL ... until starting OT was hurt for the year two games ago and his replacement was from JMU. On defense they are all DBs

Linda McMahon: So being co-CEO of a wrastling federation qualifies you for Secretary of Education

Uncle, she is being selected to close down a worthless department. It has nothing to do with being a 'qualified educator' , whatever that is supposed to mean.

ALL Rs know this.

Given Dem media choices likely good of you to point it out to him, as he clearly did not know.

Like all Dems ....need to ask themselves where they get their wrong & missing info. But they never do.....

Linda McMahon: So being co-CEO of a wrastling federation qualifies you for Secretary of Education

The main gist of the post was to point the ridiculousness of the selection pick. However, as non-qualified as McMahon appears to be, there are a lot folks more qualified that should have been selected including black educators. The woman is not even an educator in any form.

You tell me, is Linda McMahon qualified to be Secretary of Education?

And Chump can't select blacks for these cabinet positions. Unbelievable.

BNI suddenly cares about cabinet picks???

Hilarious.

Show me post history where he criticized Dem's cabinet choices as much as he has Trump's. Then he MIGHT have some credibility?

But otherwise he is just a partisan raving lunatic.

Kamala got hired based on her race and gender, and was given ONE JOB, and then failed spectacularly.

How about we let the adults handle things for the next 4 years?

Why Trump Needs to Drain the Swamp

Gaetz has never prosecuted a trial in his career. He's an embarrassing pick by Trump who will not be confirmed.
"I've had enough of this so-called "House ethics report" on Matt Gaetz. The underlying allegations are so laughable and flimsy that the only purpose of it is to smear Gaetz.
Here are the facts:
The "report" comes YEARS after the DOJ dropped its investigation into the same claims. Why did the DOJ drop the investigation? The claims hinge on the testimony of two witnesses who have such gaping credibility issues that even the DOJ, which hates Gaetz, knew no jury would ever convict him.
Who are these witnesses?
1) Joel Greenberg, who has been described as "one of the most corrupt Florida politicians of all time" and has literally made false underage sex allegations against another politician before! He accused an innocent school teacher who was running against him for tax-collector of having sex with an underage student. Sound familiar? A judge called the lies "downright evil."
2) Greenberg became embroiled in a series of crimes and faced a possible 27 years in federal prison. One of these crimes was having sex with an underage minor, the same 17-year-old who is the central character in the claims against Gaetz. BUT, even Greenberg claims he didn't know she was underage because she LIED about her age! She is now active on OnlyFans, selling sexual access for money, and has appeared in porn videos. Go figure.
According to a 2023 lawsuit, Greenberg repeatedly begged Gaetz to secure a pardon for him, and when Gaetz refused, Greenberg vowed vengeance.
An inmate who shared a cell with Greenberg told two federal agents that Greenberg told him that the woman “would be willing to adopt Greenberg’s lie in hopes of a future financial benefit." Greenberg admitted to paying the woman's legal bills in a text to a friend!
Yes, this is all ridiculous. Yes, it is all clearly contrived lies. Will the media still use it to tar and feather Gaetz? Absolutely. Gaetz has made a career of picking fights no one else in Washington had the stomach to pick. They fear him at the DOJ more than anyone.
And that's exactly why we need him running the Department of Justice—he's the only one with the guts to fight the most important fights at the DOJ and root out the corruption we've seen on full display these last 8 years.
CONFIRM MATT GAETZ.

Biden getting us into WW III before leaving office.

Good point.

A concern I have is what happens if one or more of our dozens of Euro military bases is hit in a tactical nuke attack. If our senile president finds out about it, will he escalate - or will his puppet masters in the Mil-Industrial complex escalate?
That is indeed the problem. We have a brain-dead, senile zombie President playing chess with a authoritarian zealot Putin who has already gone ape-shid over-the-top by starting this war. Does any reasonable person think that Putin will suddenly start playing by Marquess of Queensberry Rules?

Speculation from Spartanwire.

I am calling for a JMU link to be put on the bucket after the Nov. 30 game, signifying the sad end of a long rivalry. Many rivalries will now decline or vanish across the country. @Katscratch

A US Senator says 14 of 31 transfers are from JMU.

Tommy Tuberville, of all people, complaining about another coach buying players is hilarious.

Your childish comment is evidence that you don't understand the threat. Putin has spoken about escalating the war by using tactical nuclear missiles in the battlefield, not a strategic ICBM attack.

If a recent Gallup poll is correct that a majority of Ukrainians want a quick negotiated end to the war, even if it means giving up territory, why is our idiot president escalating if not at the orders of the war industry?

Great loss

B

Not a surprising reaction from an IU fan, where the hype has significantly exceeded substance for a long time. If you're IU a loss like this may break you as a team.

When you're secure in who you are, as Purdue is, there's no shame in getting punched in the mouth, whether that's losing by 10 or 30. It's what you learn from it and how you react. This loss will make this team significantly better in March. Great loss.
If IU loses by 20 I'm shredding my team because that's bad and I see no positive light to be found.
