Cluff

Cluff had a pretty good 1st half against Bama, according to espn's play-by-play log:

9 points (4/10 from the field; 1/1 at the line).

7 rebounds (4 offensive).

2 assists

1 block

No fouls

No turnovers

Cluff also had 9 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists against Colorado.

He had 19 points and 14 boards against Boise.

None of this is to say he's a sure thing, but he definitely didn't wilt against the best teams South Dakota St played.

Cluff

He had a great game stats wise. I didn’t see the game. The game was not close. I have no idea how many of his points were scored against second and third string players or during garbage time. I believe you shouldn’t praise him too much until you see him play.
Maybe watch the film before posting an opinion? He played against Cliff O most of the game.

The great Harriet Tubman removed and then restored: Why does the racist Chump administration keep doing this?

From the Tuskegee Airmen to Jackie Robinson to the Black Museum to now Harriet Tubman. Flavor Aiders explain to me, why mess with Harriet Tubman and other black figures in history? Why is it important for y'all to remove black history.

No question that it’s wrong, just as wrong as your side removing statues all around the country. History is history so all need to leave it along and learn from it.

People wondered when Purdue would be affected by the Transfer Portal. Well, we now have our answer.

0-3 or maybe 1-2. Not sure what Marquette is doing over there. Just wasted Kam Jones senior year tho by not going to the portal last year.
Maybe. Maybe 2-1 or 3-0. Guess we will find out right? And does it matter? North Carolina clearly proved winning doesn't actually mean anything.

Purdue Among Candidates to Land Virginia Transfer Wing Elijah Saunders

Yeah he doesn’t need to be a shooter, just a threat, like Heide was. And he has some post moves he could use on smaller guys. I like his lob threat too
We had the lob option with Heide and Colvin. Rarely used it. Need a couple 6-6, 6-7 wings that can play the 3, defend and rebound. Oh wait, had that with C&M! Painter never utilized either to their potential.

How high is the river? Is the town safe from a potential flood?
Well, we live on a ridge that is about 300 feet above the river. My wife's sister and her hubby, neither of whom are rocket scientists, bought in a flood plain right on the bank of the river about ten years ago. He said it hadn't flooded since 1934 and that they had flood insurance. They've been flooded three times since, including this year. They're now living in an airB&B for six weeks while the house gets repaired.

Oh, and a few days ago they were in a panic to carry all of their furniture from the first floor to the second floor as the water began trickling in. What fun! They are sixty-somethings on Social Security and both couch potatoes. Must have been like being horse-whipped.

Could you imagine

8 is plenty if they come in and contribute: make shots, rebound and play solid D. Also, most good teams have one or two subs who have scored in the high teens or even twenties a few times each season. Being able to contribute more than what our subs did this year allows more rest for the starters. No 30 second rests.
We played 8 mostly. It was not enough. We DID have tired players on the floor at times.

Smith projected as a 2nd rounder in draft

If I'm an NBA GM, no way do I use a draft pick on Braden. I love him in Old Gold and Black, but I would not take a chance on him in the NBA. I don't think his 3-point shot is consistent enough, I don't think his mid-range game would translate, he doesn't have "blow by" quickness" to get to the rim, and, even if he did get to the rim, I don't think he could finish against the elite rim protectors in the NBA. Braden is a great college player, and Purdue is lucky to have him...but, I ain't buying any stock in his NBA future. Now, I hope he goes out prove me completely wrong.
See TJ McConnel. In todays NBA the rim protector might be out at the 3 line guarding your center there. I'm always surprised at how many shots TJ gets in the paint and how many of them end up uncontested.

I live in the best small town in the Midwest. Cost of living is very low. A few years ago we had a BLM protest after the George Floyd killing. Picture and article about them in the local paper. Eight people showed up, all white.
