Utah State v. Purdue - Game Thread (2024 NCAA Tournament, Midwest Region - round of 32)

I would have brought back in Edey after that timeout. Sure enough their big gets a foul

Ok, Boilers - pretty good position after stabilizing the initial punch. Only one turnover the last 12+ minutes - hit some outside shots, and shut off some of the action....except for that last second chance triple.

Utah State is shooting its average from deep 33% but missing more inside the arc.

And, Purdue stretched the lead with Braden Smith on the bench.

With all that, Purdue team can't be comfortable - need to come out just like last game with a burst.

Getting some nice contributions from everyone. Colvin, Heide, Loved Lance's bank 3 at the end. Edey stepped up and has been unstoppable in the second half of the opening half. With their foul trouble they have quite a hill to climb to make a game of this.

The boys just need to keep doing what they're doing. Be patient and move the ball and just methodically score the ball. They did a great job the first half not rushing and playing their brand... This is how you win. Take care of the ball and rebound. They do those 2 things next half they win going away.
