For someone to be arguing with themselves, or contradict themselves, their needs to be two different schools of thought from the same person. So, when you post one thought, you just don't even have the necessary ingredients for an argument, or a contradiction.

One final point to your incoherent post. Being "nearly" a double digit favorite means that according to Vegas, PU was the prohibitive favorite. In other words, it wasn't expected to be close. Thought you could have gathered that....

But back to the main point. Purdue favored by 9 means yes, they were a strong favorite. Not prohibitive. Just strong. But 9 is strong. And why was Purdue a strong favorite over ODU? You'd like to believe that it was because ODU is not really very good. I believe that is not the reason.
