Haas almost lost this game multiple times. Refs tried to screw us and somehow we won. Thank you Carsen.

He didn't even travel. Kept his pivot foot til clock read 0. Ref thought he was taking a step and made the call before he actually traveled.

In hindsight, glad Swanigan fouled out right before the last few plays.
Maryland loses if Vince gets his average of 11....he was a total no show except on the boards at time (8). When Vince is playing well, not sure there are any teams that can beat Purdue when Biggie gets 20-10 and Mathias and Boogie get 12 a piece.

PS Give Matt cudos for switching Dakota onto Trimble late & then calling a great play for Boogie and the kid was smart enough to lean in for contact. (Big time play by a freshman)

Was going to say the same thing. Coach putting Dakota on Melo was a great move. Threes started falling too.

just got home and saw we won and held them without a fg in the last 7:37. nice win boys, just wish you had played like this at iowa and nebraska. with this crazy schedule we dont play wisky or md again so we have to depend on someone else

Yep, I said we would need 8-10, we got 9. Also thought Maryland would get a lot of points in the paint, but wow ! They only made "8" shots outside of the paint, but ended with 50 easy points (layups,dunks & freethrows) That's at the upper end of what I expected. (said 45-50) Oh st had 49, nova had 54. Think 45-50 is our limit and still have a chance to win. Just glad we got a W ! Boiler up Hammer down time !
