Ok, here we go again, folks.....Boilers clash with the Fighting Irish in the 2016 version of the Crossroads Classic, and tip-off is coming up shortly on ESPN2.....Dave Flemming and Dick Vitale working the game.
Can Purdue finally break through in this annual "House of Horrors" contest in Indianapolis? Notre Dame comes in ranked #21 @ 9-1, with the one loss a well-contested defeat to defending champ, Villanova....who also knocked off the Boilers earlier this season.
Can the Boilers defend the perimeter well enough and limit the turnovers, which have dogged them all season? If so, I think Purdue will finally break through. Regardless, Boilers need to play a patient game while still capitalizing on opportunities.....can't afford to play tight or cautious.
YUGE game for confidence purposes going into conference season next month......time to get it done........end the Indy Curse!
Boiler up, my friends.
