Neal has already been ruled out for the Iowa game. Brohm said that he did not know if Neal was out for the year or not. However, I think it is pretty safe to say that Neal is not coming back. Would I be wrong in that assumption?
Iowa is the 7th game of the year. We know Neal, like Bailey, has NFL talent and aspirations. Is there any reason (advantage) why someone like Neal would risk injuring himself again to play 4 to 5 games when we are not going to play in a high profile bowl (and any bowl is still a decent long shot of happening)?
Maybe he was personally advised to shut it down and just get ready for the NFL after he was not ready for the first game or two?
