The Iowa Hawkeyes ("The Most Hated Rival" or TMHR) invades Mackey Arena to take on the Boilers in the conference opener for both teams. The conference's leading scorer (Peter Jok) and leading rebounder (Caleb Swanigan) are featured in this game.

TV Coverage on BTN. The Hawkeyes started slowly this year but have come on strong of late winning their last five contests. The Boilers are looking for an element of revenge after dropping both of last year's games and are holding steady in the rankings at #15. Can the Boilers handle the Hawkeyes' pressure and dish some of their own on a relatively young squad? Will we see any more "Frantrums?" (credit for that term should go to Dryfly88....who hopefully won't be too hung over from his double barrel to post tonight)

Let's see if the Boilers can get off to a hot start in conference play.....should be a good contest.
