Purdue needs a repeat of Iowa/Michigan State.

We have not had consistent 3 point shooting since Edwards and Cline

We have not lost to IU at home in 10 years. That says everything.
Record speaks for itself against top teams in Big 10...not good.
The only good thing out of this game is that Hood-Schifino won't be around next year.
I love Matt Painter but this loss is on him. And he’ll take the blame. Team wasn’t prepared. Didn’t play hard. No passion. No plays to get open looks. No adjustment to Hood Shifino.
Painter defense is to make teams make 15-18ft jumpers, if this happens like tonight Purdue loses almost guaranteed
Purdue's play tonight in 2nd half was that of a last place team in the B10. Sad.

I said going into 2nd half...if you are smart coach then you would not put Morton on Schifino. Guess what...he did. Stupid coaching...not recognizing early on Morton can NOT guard Schifino.
Give credit to IU. They outplayed us. Missed FTs, poor shooting and Painter allowing Morton to guard Hood Schifino way too long. Smith and Loyer may have hit the wall. Newman trying to step up but Painter is in his head so bad he is tentative.
The irony when the game is out of reach - Loyer and Newman drain triples.
Right, no adjustment on JHS. He hasn’t shot as well on the road but he was great tonight. We looked good at the start with Furst but they responded. We will be in trouble at Madison if we hang our heads.
Well think about this, Purdue doesn't have to deal with JHS next year, and IU fans are going to be sad JHS is gone. But he's awesome.
Unfortunately, I doubt its a wake up call. Our outside shooting sucks. There's no way in hell this team can shoot decent 6 games in a row in the tournament.

CMP sticking with Morton on JHS was just an awful decision. 6 points in by JHS it was clear to me that JHS was going to eat him alive. And he did. Woeful performance by Morton....but credit to JHS.
What’s worse is what they did during the game, they kicked ass
I think this game should cement the awful shooting from this team. We don’t have a single consistent outside shooter. It’s not good.
