How many points will Purdue need to score in 2015? Although it is not an exact indicator, this is kind of an interesting stat to me. According to https://www.teamrankings.com/college-football/stat/points-per-game
IIlinois (6-7) scored 25.3 in 2014 and Iowa (7-6) scored 28. Assuming the defense can get it done then somewhere between 25 and 28 PPG may be the necessary standard to get to that 6-6 level for the season and that bowl game. This of course isn't the ultimate goal for Purdue, but just a milestone on its way upward trajectory.
We would still expect more in 2016 Can Purdue score 25-28 points per game this year?
