Contrary to what the negatwitts, think, this was a great win over a very good team! Our coach made more great in-game adjustments and we beat a very good team yesterday.

And to top it off, the negatives all have scurried back in to their holes and look like fools yet again. A pleasing side effect of this season is virtually all the things they complained about have been proven false. I love it!

Because #winwhenitmatters suggests that yesterday's win didn't matter yet it you also suggest it was a good win. I'm just wondering if you think a conference win against a Top 15 team doesn't matter.

I think it's a good win for 2 reasons. 1. Because I'm a Pudue fan and I like when my team wins. 2. A win against a ranked team may help our NCAA seeding. But until CMP starts winning in the tournament, these wins don't really matter

Important games are NCAA Tournament games. How about this...If CMP takes us to the Final Four this year, then I am on board extending his contract and giving him a major pay increase. If he doesn't...then I will have been right about him once again.

Oh lil buddy. I've been on the get rid of CMP train since he Keady'd us into giving him an extension with the Missouri fiasco. I've been right ever since. Scoreboard

Can we stop these silly arguments? Due to the Morgue-created clown show playing on the other side of Wooden Drive, CMP is going NOWHERE anytime soon. Good, bad, happy, or sad, painter will be here at LEAST 3-4 more years. Might as well get behind him.

Are we in final 4 yet? Why would you want to extend somebody that doesn't achieve high result?
 
No problem, I guess your standard is pretty low, and that's why you probably get yelled by your boss all the time? LOL

Yeah, great gets thrown around too much. Izzo is great. Coach K is great. Painter isnt in their stratosphere yet.

Coach K is great. Izzo is not even close to Coach K. Izzo is only considered great because of some screwed up reason that we celebrate 4th place in college basketball. I don't hear Ohio State and Washington crowing about their football season right now but in all reality making the college football playoffs is more meaningful than making a Final Four because objective people determined that your season made you worthy of being one of the top 4 teams in the country. Every year we usually see at least one team make the Final Four who nobody would consider a top 4 team in the country.

Not that Im disputing anything in this post, but can you give soecific examples to

1 - the great in game adjustments last night
2 - the things that were proven false

Or is this post TIC and I missed it?

So that means that coach and team must have really overachieved if they werent a top 4 team in the country but still made a final four. Seems like evidence for Izzo rather than against him imo.

My expectations are just more realistic than yours. If it were up to you, we'd be going through coaches so fast it will make your head spin.

he is in the Bobby Bowden territory IMO. Bowden was always considered great for consistently being in the top 5 (10+ years in a row IIRC). Izzo is the bball equivalent.

Sometimes that could be the case. Other times you get a favorable bracket/matchups or someone else in your bracket got knocked off to open a door. Whatever the case, he's been there 7 times and not got the job done 6 of those times (the last 6 times I think).

Tell me how many NFL teams this weekend think their season was a success just by getting to their conference championship game.

I like him to Bobby Cox but same basic thing. I think Cox won one World Series but he's better known for getting there and not winning it.

So my lease is up on my F150 and I was heavily considering getting a 2016 F150 with the 2.7 twin turbo... anyone have one of these to give me a review?

I don't tow things and do a lot of highway driving... and am sticking with a truck because I'm a fairly big dude so space is important :D

By those standards I'm not sure he will ever be able to squeeze out enough faux tears to qualify.
