Lehigh is in the Patriot League final on Wednesday night, they are currently 17-14 and on a 12 game win streak. They started off the month of Feb. at 9 games under 500.

We need Illinois to win at least their first game against Minnesota to stay above the Top 150 RPI line. Also couldn't hurt for Florida and Pittsburgh to win a game to get above the Top 50 line.

Northwestern beating Michigan and then Indiana might kick them up above the Top 100 line, but I'm not holding my breath. :)

Barring a collapse of Purdue-esque proportions :), Pittsburgh appears to be in good shape to win their game against Syracuse (up 12 with 4 min to go). That will help make sure that Purdue's win against them is still a top 50 win.

....or maybe I should keep my big mouth shut. Pitt up only by 2 with w minutes to go.

It's March, survive and advance.

Hat's off to Pitt. Vandy and Florida wins tomorrow would really help, too.

Does any of this stuff matter that much?

Will the difference between Purdue getting 4 seed and 5 seed hinge on Pitt being top 50?

Probably not.....I'm still trying to get used to the idea (and not succeeding) of Pitt and Syracuse (and Louisville) in the ACC.

Any other year, and I would probably say no, but with the parity that is running rampant in the top 25 this year, anything that helps the resume at this point is gravy and could help Purdue push up into a 3.

The 14-3 upsets are a lot more rare than the 12-5's.

Still gotta win though.

OK. Illinois win over Iowa fairly well guarantees that they will stay above the 150 RPI line no matter the results of tomorrow.

Barring an epic collapse, Old Dominion is going to win again and they might just sneak into the top 150. Again, not a major boost or anything, but anything that helps us at this point is gravy.

Duke going down helps too. There were a few bracketologists out there who had Duke above us. They are probably not going to jump from a 5 to a 4 now though.

Butler lost, and they will be sweating out selection Sunday now. Should still be a Top 50 loss.

Vandy not looking good right now. Might lose to Tennessee and that might just cost them a berth in the tourney. Might drop them below the Top 50 line also.

If Washington can somehow pull out a win against Oregon, that would be a pretty bad loss for them and might drop them down below us if we make it to Sunday.

Lots of games still left to be played.

ODU is still alive and will play for the CUSA automatic bid today vs. MTSU.

None of Vandy, Florida, or Butler really helped themselves in their conference tournaments, but most bracketologists seem to think Butler is safe.

Pitt had a nice win over Cuse, and that might be enough.

My guess is that Vandy's chances are less than 50/50, and Florida is out of the running.
