As a former Precinct Committee person and a City Chairman you are not supposed to wear any campaign material into the polls. This idiot needs a bigger fine and a few nights away from home.

2025-26 Revenue Sharing Strategy

It’s a tangled ass mess for sure. Wonder who will monitor this? NCAA surely won’t.
a mess it is with the revenue sharing being different at various schools (P4 vs all others). It probably will take a few iterations to get a reasonable solution that applies to the vast majority. I would think the conferences step in and provide guidance at least at the conference level. One thing's for certain, some universities will be very aggressive in interpreting Title 9 requirements and others will be conservative. The big 10 will probably lean towards more conservative.

Brohm…

Do you understand the mess that Brohm left us with? Not only that, when he quit he tried to flip players that Purdue had paid him to recruit to switch to U of L. The man is a sh1thead.
I recall the mess he inherited and was glad for his work to bring us back, even to the btn championship game.

Everybody is stealing players left and right now, not just Brohm. He brought some with him, and then took some with him.

Michigan 500,000 more registrations than voters of eligible age.....what could possibly go wrong??

This has gotta be a joke.

"They will dress nicely and speak English very well while voting."

Lol. Pardon me but that's exactly what people mention when trying to say nice things about a minority.

Illegals speak English very well? Are you freakin insane? I work with illegals everyday. Really. You "hang out" with them? NONE them speak English. I had a long conversation about politics and immigration with one of the bosses yesterday. He laughed out loud when I asked if any would try to vote.

"those who are illegal will vote if they are convinced that it will help a friend, family member, or themselves."
THEY CAN'T VOTE fool. The only thing that will happen is they get be deported. Does that help them or their family?

Did your Latino buddies tell you how much they had to pay to get into the country? They're gonna gonna blow the 10k so they can try to vote?

Please explain.........SPECIFICALLY.......how an illegal votes. THE OVERWHELMING MAJORITY CAN'T READ THE DAMN BALLOT.
My guess is that you hire them to work for you and you pay them squat.

Trump’s real closing message: his kkklan rally at MSG

Wow. Love you some military.
Why is he lying? Usually you would say because trump fired him. Lots of people reacted that way according to MAGA. Don't think Kelly got fired.
Let me guess. Kelly couldn't control him. Or Kelly is jealous? What you got today?
A better question is, why didn't Kelly resign as a point of honor as a former Marine General if Trump said those things?

KatJM23 randomly posted a list of Marine leadership principles the other day. Why didn't Kelly follow them?.

Burgess

As usual it’s you who disagrees with me! I’ll double down on my opinion.

In today’s college world, if a player doesn’t get the minutes he believes he deserves, he will transfer. Look at Harms and Eastern. Look at Catchings! Look at Jones. Why did Jones and his buddy leave SIU? Look at the two Receivers who transferred away from Georgia.

My statement is true for 90% of today’s college athletes! It’s very simple. If he doesn’t get the minutes he believes he deserves, He will transfer.

Berg, Jacobson and Burgess are all fighting for the same spot. One of them will win the spot. Two of them will lose. Painter will recruit and sign another big man next year. And somebody will transfer.

Maybe Burgess will win the starting role. Maybe Jacobson will . Maybe it will be Berg. It should be obvious that Jacobson and Burgess didn’t come to Purdue to be a role player for 4 years.

Whoever loses will leave! This isn’t 1990! Loyalty to a school no longer exists!

Btw......Most of us only laugh and don't reply.

If you have 2 QBs, then you don't really have one

Now, Walters is wanting to use a 2 QB system, no matter who starts. We have all heard, if you have 2 QBs, then you don't really have 1 QB.

The QBs are going to be conservative with their play, because they know that they can be pulled at any time. He is grasping for straws at this point. We need to go with Browne. He is young and he is an underclassman. He has the best legs of the 2 QBs, and he can create with his legs and scrambling. With our OL and no WRs to speak of, he gives us the best chance to stay somewhat competitive in the game, meaning not losing by 30 points in every game.

Jamey Chadwell, HC Liberty U

$4 million/yr. Be aware that we are now in the first year of our new TV contract and we can easily pay double that. The same goes for all the Big Ten & SEC schools. We'll be getting $75-100 million in TV and playoff money while Liberty gets zip.

Here's another example - Matt Campbell HC Iowa State, currently 7-0 and ranked #10. Schools in the Big-12 and ACC make about a third the TV money that the Big Ten and SEC are currently making. Now, ISU is a Purdue clone. Not much football tradition, Land Grant, big Ag, Engineering & vet school, sitting out in the middle of cornfields. Campbell recently got a RAISE to $4 million. We could easily double or triple that salary with the new TV contract.
  • After completing a 9-3 season in 2020, Campbell and Iowa State agreed on a new contract extension that would keep him with the school through the 2028 season. Under the terms of that contract, according to USA Today, Campbell earns an annual base salary of $4 million — including for the 2024 college football campaign.
You sound like you want to steal a coach from a school very much like Purdue.

2 Quarterbacks

Apparently this is a possibility this weekend. Having 2 QBs usually means you have none.
Or a coach who is lost. Browne needs to be the starter the rest of the year going forward. Card won't be here next year, and we aren't going to a bowl game this year. Might as well get Browne the experience. He may or may not be here next year either, though. I think we'll see a lot of players jumping off this sinking ship.

Jamey Chadwell, HC Liberty U

He already gets a pretty hefty salary at Liberty if I'm not mistaken.

2025-26 Revenue Sharing Strategy

the department of education said title 9 will apply to future revenue sharing, but they didn't provide any guidance on how to split the revenue and they didn't address if the revenue sharing is considered financial assistance (which it shouldn't). Some schools are sending funds out to 3rd party organizations which in turn pay athletes for endorsements (sounds like money laundering). When revenue sharing starts, there still will be a lot of unanswered questions and some universities will funnel a large portion to football. I've read that Ohio State plans to drop scholarships for some lower revenue sports to help offset the revenue costs.

For Purdue, I'd like to see the revenue sharing paid out as a percentage of revenue generated so that the major sports get the majority, but leave funds to subsidize the non revenue sports. Then fill in with NIL brides err payments.
It’s a tangled ass mess for sure. Wonder who will monitor this? NCAA surely won’t.
