What happens to our program, if Walters does not end up getting let go this year?

It's not one or the other. They're both culpable.
Brohm has no fault whatsoever in this mess. Even if you say he poached players from us or left the cupboard bare, in the portal era, the new head coach should have been a better talent evaluator. He's ride or die, mostly die, with Card even when this season is clearly lost and Card gone next year. Hopefully Walters is gone with him.

Great Insights From Paint

It could be any of multiple recruits for the 2025 year
True but rumor was it was Singleton who was basically turned off by the competition he would be up against.

He had great things to say about West. Said the fact other schools refused to evaluate him made recruiting him easier. Compared him to Cox and Carsen.

There would have been no Walters hire if our previous carpetbagger coach had stayed.
Everyone knew Brohm ultimately wanted to end up back in Louisville with his family from the day he was hired. The fact that the AD didn't have any legitimate coaches on speed dial ready to interview is the real failure that's got us in this mess. Can't fault Brohm for the AD's ineptitude.

The Brohm hire is what put us into the mess we're in right now. He said he was going to use Purdue as a stepping-stone to U of L and he did.
He got us to the btn championship game. He stayed 6 years. And the teams were fun to watch, especially the offense.

He had a chance to go to U of L after one year and turned it down.

And he drove a 2004 Accord.

It could be worse: Butler 56- IU 46

IU got a huge bounce back win against Stanford, 76-63. Looks like they finally remembered how to play this game.

BTW, I never predicted IU would make a FF, that is just the village idiot who has no reading comprehension and is only here to harass people to try and make his miserbal self feel less awful about who he is. Hopefully if everyone either ignores him or mocks hom for his stupidity he will go back into hiding.

Double-wide end lines … another part of the grand Bobo design

The layout of the football field is pretty cool, except for those lines you mention as double wide. It cost us a touchdown. I don't actually lay blame on the player or the coaches. The field crew, their superiors and that probably tops out at the athletic director should know better. Purdue is supposed to show intelligence along with its creativity, but this time they blew it. There has to be a voice of common sense within this part of the athletic program that would have caught this and fixed it.
