Yeah, when I saw that graphic that Dick is 24 years old and Flagg is 17, it really hit home.

Side note: I hate when they show Dick and his 2,000 some points and don't add that he is in his 5th year of basketball.

The decision (and no @pboiler18 im not saying anyone needs to like it) was likely made that once the conditions in the previous paragraph are known and mapped out, that now gives even the lowliest big ten schools a competitive advantage over a LOT of schools they don’t have one over now. Let Walters deal run one more year, put next years money into basketball (more so than you would with a good football coach), spend next year with everyone knowing the writing is on the wall, then go to a better pool of candidates with less of a buy out for Walters.

You also get the benefit of signing two coordinators and seeing if one of them jumps off the page as the next guy

The problem with your "logic" is that you can't let this program sink any lower or revenue and whatever NIL Purdue is getting is going to decline significantly. Losing donors is not what this program needs right now. And that's what will happen in your scenario...

I think you’re right. I think west snd Benter are both new to the mix for time at the 3 spot as well as the 2 so Heide likely sees time at the 4

Then he turned it over AGAIN down the stretch. Kid will be very good and be the number 1 or 2 pick (Ace Bailey may be 1 depending on the teams need). But man ESPN was 🤤 anytime cooper took a breath.

our feelings are the same. My niece in an interview for a pharmacist job was asked, "why did you go to Butler instead of Purdue" ... she replied 'if I had gone to purdue my uncle would have never spoke to me again" .. true story. Yet the interview was in Bloomington so that may have been a difference in giving an answer like that. Peegs asked me after the forum moved from the Indy Star to change my user name. It was IH8PU.

They had a historically bad 5 year run. There's not way around that. Thankfully, he came back with a FF and shot at the NC.

On that over and back no call against colorado the video on espn showed his reaction. You could tell he wanted to murder the ref by the look in his eyes. Its the reaction of a 12 year old. To be honest he is worse than Fran in terms of melt downs and that is saying a lot. He probably will be fired eventually for hitting someone (coach, player, ref etc..).
