Oh wow. What a save. You've not given a realistic counterpoint to any of the military or simply logical reasons why an isolated airbase in Afghanistan would make sense. Sure it can be done.........if you accept the situation will become unpopular and untenable when American military personnel start to die. But I'm sure the inevitable withdrawal would go smoothly with no weapons left behind.

Part of what people have to remember is that OSU was 2, not 5. 5 was just where they ended up in the projected bracket last week (all weeks). It is a big question as to how far they fall.

Definitely seems like the coach and QB may be heading somewhere else. I agree that UNC is most likely (although Chadwell is from Tennessee and Coastal Carolina is in South Carolina, not North).

As for Walters, he may have taken a substantial cut just to get out of West Lafayette. I don't love IU and agree that if Purdue doesn't go big this time, with a proven, winning coach, they might as well join the MAC if the MAC will have them.

certainly the ole miss player was not ready for a short shot that went somewhat down. Cam was in the best position where he could head for the basket and tip with either hand depending on the bounce off the rim. Still, no matter what...Myles ended up making the play and the good guys survived

Age is my least concern. Plenty of guys coach to 70 or close, and Purdue's had one coach last more than 6 years in half a century.

That said, neither were serious candidates two years ago.

There's a reason no other schools are considering those two as serious candidates. They're also both in there 60s, meaning likely looking to retire within about 5 years, and we're looking for a new coach again.
