So now it’s time for the administration to make a statement that Walters has been fired. There’s literally no alternative. This season has been objectively worse than Hazell.
I agree that no name coach is coming here. They have to get lucky with a Walters type or an old guy looking for his last gig. This program is a disaster and will take a lot to get back to mediocrity.
He delivered the worst season in Purdue history, with a team at the bottom of the conference in every statistic, and finished with an unforgivable loss to your rival.
There’s no way he can recover from this. It needs to be burnt down and start over.
