While I agree there were a few "fans" here that freaked out a bit.......the vast majority made great posts and cheered in the Boilers on during the game.
At least they were here during the game. Some weren't, and come afterwards to judge.
Me ......I am pretty proud of our fan base as a whole, and even more proud of the great game the Boilers had to win the championship. Well done!
I hated to see us blow the lead but I really wanted to see how the team would respond. A lot of times fans act like everyone should be perfect or hit every shot and that’s not basketball or how sports work.
It was great to see how the team responded because this type of scenario absolutely happens in March. Ole miss couldn’t miss in the second half and we still got through it. Loved seeing Braden take the final shot and be able to get that shot…even if he missed it bad. Colvin was phenomenal this game and TKR was a BEAST and continues to be.
Tough stretch now with B1G play opening up at Penn state. Look for Baldwin to be HYPED to play vs smith. Their 7 footer is athletic but don’t think he can hang/defend TKR. Excited to see how we respond after a big win. Hopefully not another let down like we had bs Marquette.
