Hell to pay

When you say MOST of the hatred comes from the left.....,you are dead on.

Sure there's a few on the right that wacko BNI can point to.....But like I have said, BNI has reading comprehension issues. Likely won't understand the difference between the words MOST and ALL.

Edit....
LOL. Now I see leftist extremist wacko BNI was already here. But his post proved my point 100% to the letter. Dude has reading comprehension issues.
Cong. Tlaib hates Jews since she is Palestinian. No surprise. Jews have historically been overwhelmingly supporters of the democrats for a reason. White supremacy groups currently vote republican. They hate the Jews. Been hating the Jews for decades back when they used to vote democrat prior to the 1960s. Hating the Jews in the US has been a national past time.

The December 5

Either you are just trying to be argumentative for the fun of it, or you have no idea what seedings in March mean for your chances to win a national championship.

No idea why we have to do this every year, but there are always some on here that make statements like that. "doesn't matter what your seed is you just need to win em all" or some such nonsense.

31 of the 34 last champions were either a 1, 2 or 3 seed. Just google % of champions by seed line. But yeah, it doesn't matter what your seed is.......

CMP has mentioned numerous times how winning these big games in the pre-conference are great for the resume come march. Everyone here has heard him say it. But you can ignore that too if you want to.
I do get what he's saying, just don't necessarily agree with it. He's saying it doesn't matter if we win these tough games in November and December, just that we PLAY them, because we'll be better off for the experience. He's correct to a degree. But I disagree with the point as a whole because winning them means plenty to go along with the experience. A better seed in March equals many things, including an easier road to the Final Four. Including playing close to home for fan support and travel convenience. Including confidence in WINNING those difficult games. Making the plays down the stretch. Colvin knowing where the right place and when the right time is for that tip-in last Friday. What's the point of having the experience of playing tough, close games if you lose them all?

Names to consider for our next football coach?

I think we could do a hell of lot worse than Odom. He was a HC in the SEC before he was ready and now has done a pretty remarkable job at UNLV. He has what appear to be real up and comers as his coordinators, so if he can bring the staff, it could possibly be a strong hire.
I agree. I read how I phrased my post and I should have worded it different. I think Odom may be a good get. I do think our AD won't go much higher than this level of conference head coach though. I think he is in another world with handling the football team, than most ADs would do.

Day has a second chance!

Forgive this naive question from a guy who hasn't followed the college football expansion that closely:

Is the bracket determined solely by the order of finish in the playoff rankings, or is there a committee like in basketball that has the power to manipulate the seeding to avoid conference games/rematches in the first round?
top 4 conference champions get seeds 1 - 4, then it goes to at large bids based on ranking (i.e. loser of Oregon vs PSU game is most likely the #5 seed) Big ten and SEC will probably get in 4 teams each. The rankings are done by a committee.

Throw some names for coaches next year….

Helped build NDSU into the powerhouse/dynasty they are. Offensive coach currently averaging 11 wins per/yr. Developed a guy named Josh Allen. Has a system and recruits to it. But...

FCS to BIG is a huge jump. Not impossible, but probably needs to prove it at a FBS school before a job like Purdue. Rumored to be in the running for the Fresno State job.
It is a huge jump, but probably not as big of a gamble as hiring a guy whose resume consisted of 3-4 years as a DC at Missouri and Illinois.

Is that any bigger jump than what Cignetti made? If our NIL situation is as dire as Walters claims, we may need a “do more with less” guy.

Most of the hatred for Jews comes from the left. Have you not been paying attention? Your side has a number of elected officials (mostly in the Squad) who are avowed anti-semites and support the destruction of Israel.

You better go see a doctor about your TDS.....you're approaching Bob's level, which is unhealthy.
Did conservative radio tell you to say this? The Patriot channel perhaps?

NET is out

Of course it's early, but our numbers have already improved, mostly thanks to Ole Miss blowing out Louisville at Pitino's brothel last night. Ole Miss moved all the way up to 27, easily in Quad 1.

Edit to add: NC State went the other way, dropping to Quad 3 without playing. They play Texas tonight in the SEC/ACC thing.
Indiana got some help as well. Providence moved to a Q2 win. South Carolina is now just 10 spots from being Q2. Providence moved from 104 to 81. South Carolina moved from 135 to 90 after last night. Which Louisville did move down. Indiana win big. And because if all that... Indiana moved to 4 spots lol.

I believe it's the latter (committee). I commented to my friend that it almost looked like someone was lining up the SEC for the Final Four.

I like Brent Vigen. Spent his whole life in North Dakota, so a little adversity won’t scare him off.
