We scored efficiently, cut the turnovers down to just 2 in the second half, hit big shots, got their best player in foul trouble, and took over at the end. We won a hard fought game against a team that battled and had an answer every time we tried to extend a lead. Gotta hand it to Vermont. They played incredibly well but Purdue's superior talent prevailed in the end.

I'm gonna enjoy the SHIT outta this tournament win and look forward to a fun weekend.

I'm very happy but I am just now beginning to lower my heart rate and ease my edginess. Those 2 late season losses to Michigan threw whatever confidence I had and took it to the shrinky-dink factory.
That being said, I'm very hopeful we overwhelm & pick apart Iowa St. so we get another shot at the team we should've beat in our last two tournament meetings...KansAss. Purdue is the last team their fans want to see. IMO, If it comes to pass, it'll be one of the best games of the tournament.
