With a less than mediocre offense. 7 points scored today by the O. If this offense could get it together and be more consistent on the OL and at the QB position, this team would be pretty hard to beat. Its just really sad that the OL can't run block. Even a service academy had more rushing yards than this OL did against Whisky...

Were the offenses of the past "wasted" with poor defensive play, when we would put up a ton of points, then lost because the D couldn't get a stop? (No.)

This is a team game. Nobody is being "wasted".

Well, yes, the good offenses were somewhat wasted when we couldn't stop anyone. It would be nice if we could put an offense and defense together in the same season...

I think that's happened in our past (good O and D in the same season).

In another thread, the topic of OSU came up. Even with OSU's depth of talent and extraordinarily high recruiting classes, they're facing that very challenge...!

I'm pretty sure all of us would be pretty pleased if we were told before the season we'd be sitting at 4-3 at this point.
