Iowa v. Maryland

Big game tonight. Should be a really good one to watch. One of those pivotal games for the conference title.
If Iowa wins they separate from the pack even more. If they lose they are still the favorite but things get more interesting with trips to IU, UM, and OSU.

Should be a great game.....am looking forward to catching some of it. I've seen Iowa play several times this year, but I haven't seen much of the Terps. Seems like a pick em game to me. If the Hawkeyes prevail, they'll have some serious separation (more than two games) from everyone other than Indiana and Michigan.

And gotta give credit to TMHR.....the game-plan execution has been there with Uthoff leading the way all through conference season up to this point.....yeah, there's going to be a game or two where it's not clicking (or the shooting is off), but Iowa is really playing well as a team......so much so.....we've missed out on "Fired Up Fran" so far.....

When Maryland lost to Michigan 2 weeks ago, they came back the next game and beat OSU 100 - 65. Their only other loss in league play was at MSU Saturday. They have been thinking about that non-stop for 5 days and now get a top 3 ranked opponent at home. Maryland is more talented, Iowa is the better "Team" but I like the Terps to win at home.

Yep Maryland and IU both have super classy fans.

Said to myself I really hope we never fear someone so much that we have to stoop to a chant like that on national tv. Uthoff not having a good night so far but hopefully he gets it turned around to punish those fans.

Maryland fans are notoriously known for being pretty trashy. The school has apologized (I believe multiple times) for things their fans/students have done.

When I first moved to VA I didn't get the whole VA / MD dislike. I get it now. There's just something chippy about people in Maryland. There used to be a radio commercial that only half joked "Welcome to Anacostia, roll up those windows sucka." I dunno what their deal is. Down wind from Jersey maybe?

Hate to hear that. Class knows no age and so you are not too old. It was classless to anyone, but to the team players that seeks no limelight it is even more shameful. I hate the gyms were the fans are almost on the floor to allow the mental midgets any voice
