yep, the team has been rattled the whole game......not much time left to turn it aroundHey C'mon...when a team has 14 TO's.....15 as I type.....it's in trouble. Can't do that against the good teams. Butler is playing tough, but it's not the Arkansas or Louisville-type pressure defense.

Yes, Purdue is playing bad, but I think Butler is treated as NCAA darlings and are allowed to get away with a little more than most teams in terms of physicality. Letting them play in the post really isn't supposed to happen this year according to the NCAA points of emphasis.
Yeah it is one game. But some will jump off the ledge anyway...It's one game......looks like it's Purdue' first loss......hopefully they learn from it and play well Tuesday.
Still time left......no need for a complete meltdown either way....JMHO.
Swanigan has nearly half of our turnovers.
Hill has 3, but then everyone else is 1-2. Swanigan has gotta get that under control, it's killing us.

not over yet but g'damn what a turd being laid. different scenarios but almost akin to getting shredded by VCU. Poor execution, turnovers and shit the bed. Learn. do better!
meh, more likely just some disappointed venting. and if fans / faithful 'jump' after taking one licking then let the ledgies jump. 'they' say you "learn more from losses then from wins..." so as long as the team watches the video, listens to the coaches and learns from this.. way better to get whipped in Dec than March : )Yeah it is one game. But some will jump off the ledge anyway...
cmp shit the bed in the first half and let this team get its head up. butler was downhill on us the minute he sat aj. cmp wont even yell at the refs.
Quit blaming the refs. That's weak sauce. Bitching about the officiating when your team is getting outplayed is for losers.
normally capable. not today. and he started the 2nd half. You aren't going to keep playing Hammons with 2 fouls when you have a capable back-up. It'd be one thing if you were getting dominated. But it was a very close game at halftime, no need for Hammons to be in there.

Yes Biggie has a bunch of TOs but let's not be too hard on him. Butler can totally collapse into the lane because our guards can't shoot. Our guard play needs to pick up.

It's not the foul differential that's the problem. It's the allowance of Butler to shove our bigs out of their spots. They aren't using their hands, but their bodies which is harder to call. Also our bigs have to be tougher about establishing and keeping their position. Not to mention the foul differential is...four. Foul shot difference is...four.
Those aren't eye-opening discrepancies. Have the refs called a great game? I definitely would not say that. But I think it's been pretty bad all-around, not focusing on Purdue.
Haas fouled on rebound...........come on, these are fouls
