Butler v. Purdue Game Thread

Good shots by Haas............not falling

It was a good possession/set-up, but would like to see Haas go to the basket against a smaller defender instead of fading away. This is why we don't see as many fouls called.

Vince fouled on rebound............no call

I mean, to point out every missed call will result in a miserable life. Right now, Purdue's had some very careless turnovers/possessions and easy misses.

Can't get tunnel vision on the refs.

Agree with this for sure

I think Isaac has picked this up a bit from AJ! AJ definitely isn't one to try to draw contract.

I know Isaac has had some bad luck being aggressive with size, but he had a lot of space to work with in that possession.

Still obvious bad call.......

Sweet block by Davis. Swanigan a little outta control. Gotta be careful "shooing" away your defender.

Just gotta close this first half out with any big mistakes/runs.

Purdue has 7 turnovers - absolutely going to kill us if we don't play a bit more under control.

did that butler kid seriously hop up and down on one foot saving that ball without a travel? wow...

haas is so off

I wouldn't say he's off, he's just playing against better defenders. We aren't playing Incarnate Word anymore. Gotta work for it - and be a bit more aggressive instead of fading back. It's a better shot and the only way you'll draw fouls.

Being allowed to get away with blatant fouls helps.

I really get tired of complaining about refs. The refs didn't call very many fouls on either team. To have the refs go against us every single game apparently....makes you wonder what we're doing wrong!

Let's see if CMP can settle the Boilers down and make some adjustments.....actually, with the poor execution on offense, Purdue could be in a bigger hole......this will be another grinder it looks like.

Kudos to Butler for getting AJ off the floor.
Although AJ deserves some credit as his second foul was silly.
