With another bye week this weekend, at least we won't lose this weekend. Trying to look for a positive with this situation.

Normally, the bye weeks are good to get your best players completely healthy, but I don't think that really matters with this team.

One way that we could win this weekend is if Administration would do what they should have already done and let Walters go. However, Bobinski has remained very silent on the football team, maybe he is in hiding. Maybe, he is putting together a plan and will finally break his silence.

We are only about 7 weeks from the early signing period. If we don't get this started, I guess us fans can play the over/under how many recruits will actually sign with us during the early signing period with our trainwreck of a program.

Thank goodness the basketball season is starting.

I haven’t seen much support for this from anyone on these boards but personally I could see Painter plugging him in with TKR as a possible starter to begin the season.

I know this will be a long shot as most people see Berg and Danielson as better prospects to man the five when TKR is at the four. However I know Painter is going to want some experience there as the season begins and who better to fill that role than Furst?

Playing backup to Edey limited Calebs minutes last year and to be honest he looked weak and uninspiring during the time he did play. Perhaps getting more minutes is the key to him breaking out?

Who jumps on the Boiler band wagon this fall?

Reibe - No, already have enough big men?
Bundalo - No, would he really be a good fit?
Singleton -? Only if he has a great senior season. He would have to red shirt.
Sisley - No, What the heck is he waiting for?
Mullins -? I hope so. Is he headed to the East Coast?
West - No, to far from home.
Haralson - No, Great player, but would he fit in with Painter's style (Catchings)?
Khamenia - No, but you never know. West Coast should snatch him up.
Adams -? I think it's Baylor or Boilers.
Transfer -? If Mullins don't sign and Singleton or Adams won't red shirt. Painter wouldn't mind holding the scholarship for a transfer.
