Truly feel IU is NOT…

More talented than us but it’s pretty obvious that coaching means a lot to their success.

People on here over the summer got too tied up in recruiting rankings of this coach, recruiting rankings of the previous coach and not focused on the actual on field results.

Most every FBS team has enough talent to win 6…the true difference is what is the staff doing scheme wise to get the most out of what they do have?

Purdue football The Morning After: Takeaways from Purdue’s loss to Oregon

The Morning After: Boiler Upload offers takeaways from Purdue’s 35-0 loss to Oregon, including Ryan Browne’s day, another poor start, and more. ⬇️

Volleyball vs IU

What a DOMINATING performance by our ladies. 25-18, 25-14 and 25-9 over IU last night on Keady Court. The whole thing only lasted 1 hr and 28 minutes. In the 3rd set when it was like 19-4, Indiana virtually fell apart and just wanted to leave. I actually felt sorry for IU for a minute, and then I realized what school I was feeling bad for, and quickly came back to my senses.

We seem to be putting it together now and the ladies show a lot of joy, while having fun. Go Boilers!

President Filibuster

I strongly dislike hearing either of these 2 Pres. candidates talk for any length of time.

But, K2 will be President Filibuster IF elected. I tried to watch some of this Fox news interview this AM. But K2's answers were just long winded off topic Filibusters. Unwatchable.

Not sure what her goal was there with FOX, but I can't imagine anything she said catching the attention of any undecided, or rare voter the late deciders....which is more common.

I mean Trump is long winded at answering questions, but at least he gets to the topic.

This K2 lady is atrocious, every answer just an unrelated rant to the actual question.

JDV is the only one of these 4 clowns that has any communication ability. He's a dude I can listen to. Gets to the point. Calm. Pivots biased questions. Master communicator. Likely why the Trump campaign got a little bump after the VP debate.

Anyway, if you are up for torture, here you go......

Purdue football Nyland Green

In his post game press conference, Ryan Walters said he was unsure of when cornerback Nyland Green would return after suffering a serious injury.

Green was seen in a sling on his left arm earlier in the week.

Another Georgia transfer seemingly going down for the foreseeable future.

In other news, CJ Smith should be back after the bye week. He was available yesterday but did not play.

Never thought I’d say this … give hazell credit

His offense was basically a bunch of Jim tressel plays that would have worked if he had Maurice clarett, and not low level 3 stars, but at least he could hang his hat on tough linemen and defensive players. I can’t tell you what this team can hang their hat on.

It was a bad team last year. Okay fine. Kirk ferentz won 4 games in two years.

The team looks like they went 4-8, left the day after their last game and then showed up a week before their first game

Darrell hazells teams weren’t any good, but at least you could see where they were trying to improve.

When was the last time Purdue was down 24 to Illinois? Brandon Hanse??

Harris....wants worlds Highest Death Tax

Most of you likely do not understand what a problem this is for farmers and ranchers.

Most of them just eek out a living and want nothing more to pass their farm on to the next generation as a family farm.

Their land has skyrocketed in value under the last 3 Presidents. Their costs of production is also out of control now under Biden. But with land so high, large farms easily would be caught up in K2's death tax scheme.

Many of these would need to be sold because of K2.

How much of it’s talent?

I can’t believe we have that much of a talent deficit to the point where we’re not even competitive.
Granted, we don’t have Bama, ND or Texas talent, but we’re not a MAC level either.
In my opinion, it’s a lot of scheme and just not having guys ready or in position or maximizing what they do well while minimizing what they don’t.

Commitment and what it would mean now

Jenkins likely cost the same 400k they were set to pay Scourton to stay. According to stuff I read on on3, Scourton left for 825 and at least access to a house and car.

Even with everything that’s gone on, imagine we went into yesterdays game with Scourton retained and the money spent on Jenkins also spent on a corner and MLB who had proven they could play?

Even with as crappy as this staff has been. I’d still be in favor of letting Walters go.

But we’d have won on Saturday rather easily, and like Joe tiller said “I said to Jim on the headset, ‘boys we got ourselves a QB,’ because without that, you might as well be playing tiddlywinks.” So Purdue would have a QB and a much better defense.

What does it mean? That this team was about a 1.5 million dollar commitment away from still having a good shot at 5-7 even with a train wreck of a staff. Commitment matters and will matter when the next coach comes here.

In fact, many good coaches will ask for guarantees on that front before taking the job

Sebastian Williams-Adams official visit this weekend

Sebastian seems to have a fair amount of interest in Purdue. He was offered late by Purdue yet had enough mutual interest to put us in his final 8 and choose to schedule an official visit. He’s rumored to be leaning Kansas and Texas A&M currently but has multiple other visits. I’ll be very curious on the outcome of this visit in his mind. I’m not ruling us out yet.
I believe that of the other two in Sisley and Singelton, that Singleton ends up being the better player and comes to Purdue and Sisley ends up at IU. Singleton may go elsewhere, especially if Williams-Adams chooses Purdue but my gut (no inside info) says Singelton will be a Boilermaker. Time will tell if LOL.
(I think the reason I feel this way is my belief that Singleton ends up a better player and I want him here to cheer for) BTFU! That plus I think Sisley buys the IU hype (+$$$) they’re feeding him.
