What are the Vegas odds...or any odds...that Purdue wins another game this year?

Hilarious watching people argue about who will be last place in a beauty contest.
Yes please explain.Ya, I misspoke. I’ll admit and explain
Purdue press conferences now don’t do much but extend the misery. Like we all saw the games, we know team is bad, so why talk about it , pretty much a waste of time and doubt many are watching or care what is said
If this is in fact true and Bobo is retained as long a Burke Purdue will be exiting the BIG under his watch. All the equal payments will turn to equal pain as our athletic department shrivels to nothing.I believe BOBO already made his decision and has already publicly revealed it with respect to NIL.
Two facts:
1. There is a finite amount to the amount of NIL and scholarships Purdue can and will give out.
2. The AD had full authority as to how that finite amount of scholarships and NIL is given out.
The rumors/speculation.
A respected poster on this board Said Purdue’s basketball players were receiving more NIL than Purdue’s best football players. The person posted that every basketball player was receiving more NIL. Than Card received. Is this true? It wasn’t me that posted it.
In one of Walter’s or Bobo’s press conferences or interviews, he was talking about the players who left. It may have been with Brian. He said publicly he could have given more NIL to the players that left. And they might have stayed. But he decided to give that money to several other players to reward them . He had a choice and he made it. Instead of giving the NIL money to one player, he gave it to three players.
Brohm’s initial success was very similar to the success IU is enjoying this year. When Brohm came to Purdue, he brought his entire staff and he brought 18 players he had either recruited or played for him at WKU. And several of those player he brought from WKU were grad transfers. One of the best players Brohm brought was the linebacker who was the son of his defensive coordinator. Indiana has proven to have success, you need continuity in Your coaching staff and players.
Purdues swim team attracted a bunch of Olympic divers as transfers. I have to believe they came to Purdue because of our coach and also because they received a nice NIL payment. This goes back to the fact the AD has the authority to divide up the NIL however he chooses.
This all leads me to believe BOBO has already made his decision how NIL money will be spent. And he hs publicly revealed his decision. Unlike Alabama and OSU, football is not BOBO’s top priority for NIL spending and it appears it never will be. Unlike other football powerhouses, BoBO likes to distribute his money. To all sports rather than disproportionately to football.
It’s time Purdue football fans opened their eyes to what BOBO has said and done. It’s obvious winning football games is NOT Bobo’s top priority! It doesn’t appear it ever was! Hiring Walters was not the type of move an AD would make if he had a win now philosophy!
And looking to the future, if the big ten does add new schools, it will be with the intent to increase revenue. And those schools will have more NIL money to give out than Purdue does. If the BIG 10 Adds Texas A&M or Miami or FSU, Purdue’s football team will be buried even deeper. And there will be no escaping the cellar any time soon.
So get used to it
Someone sounds sooooo triggered.⬆️I personally believe Cheney should face a firing squad for treason on the phony Jan 6 committee - or at least 20 years of hard labor. Each of the others that covered up evidence likewise.
Login to view embedded mediaWhy even have press conferences for a team so bad, like what does it accomplish?
Missed assignments all day. The D misses them more frequently than makes them.1) We drop the opening drive pass!
2) On our 4th down play in Ovt. our right side receiver was held the entire route and intended receiver was hooked and turned while trying to catch the pass. Zebras BLEW both fouls.
3) Missed assignment by our D allowed a wide open NW to score the winning TD.
Guess the worst play could be the biggest 😉The biggest play is that we still had Walters walk on the field to coach this game.
Hate to be Mr obvious here but it could be that Walters is absolutely terrible. This is the 7th straight loss and you’re blaming the damn refs?1) We drop the opening drive pass!

What evidence?I personally believe Cheney should face a firing squad for treason on the phony Jan 6 committee - or at least 20 years of hard labor. Each of the others that covered up evidence likewise.
lol. This is like blaming a pimple on Holly Roe’s ass for the reason she looks like miss piggy. Walters is a terrible head coach plain and simple.Now, Walters is wanting to use a 2 QB system, no matter who starts. We have all heard, if you have 2 QBs, then you don't really have 1 QB.
The QBs are going to be conservative with their play, because they know that they can be pulled at any time. He is grasping for straws at this point. We need to go with Browne. He is young and he is an underclassman. He has the best legs of the 2 QBs, and he can create with his legs and scrambling. With our OL and no WRs to speak of, he gives us the best chance to stay somewhat competitive in the game, meaning not losing by 30 points in every game.
IU has played out of their mind well this year but they have yet to play an opponent as good as OSU. Not that things can’t happen but let’s not get carried away with IU beating middling teams and extrapolating to top tier teams.A friend of mine posted this elsewhere, and I'm honestly curious if it's accurate and what it might mean for the postseason.
Oregon is the number 1 college program in the country, it's unlikely, but possible they don't make the Big10 championship.
There are three teams in the Big10 that are undefeated, Oregon, Indiana and Pennsylvania State. None of them play each other. Under tiebreaker rules the next tie breaker besides head to head is win margin against a similar opponent. They do all have a similar opponent... Ohio State.
Oregon has already played Ohio State, and beat them by one. If Penn State and Indiana beat them by more and they all finish the year undefeated, Oregon is watching from home.
If the above scenario does happen (which seems unlikely), Oregon could still qualify for the playoffs, right? So it would make the Big Ten Title game essentially worthless.
I'm taking about things like SAT scores for all students, not just athletes.NW has strict admission requirements for football players? That sounds like ND propaganda.
I’m more concerned with cleaning house starting with the AD. This hire and schedule debacle is all on Bobo and staff.We are on the fast track of a 0.5 and eleven record.
Will Walters remain as HC for the rest of the season and risk the few commitments we have?
Will Bobinski fire Walters tomorrow and focus on the future?
Keeping Walters is a major sign of disrespect for the fans, especially those who have filled the seats of RA for every disappointing game this year. I expect the PSU game to be a sea of blue in two weeks.
Future score predictions:
@OSU 56-3
PSU 48-7
@MSU 35-14
@IU 70-10
Final record: 0.5-11
NW has strict admission requirements for football players? That sounds like ND propaganda.Purdue should talk to him. He may be the best fit for us.
Pat has Head Coach experience in the B10 and was very successful. He set up good offensive and defensive units on both sides of the ball. He is a great recruiter and given that Purdue does not have as strict admission requirements as Northwestern does, he can bring in a lot of B10 caliber talent.
Plus, I think he was railroaded out of NU. (those hazing allegations were not conclusive and he was let go for not knowing all about it)
Thoughts on Pat?
I would hope so. Purdue is trending on X, and not in a good wayI wonder if the Purdue AD has been talking to prospective HC's (or their agents) by now?
Better to just end the suffering sooner.Anyone think not kicking FG in OT was the right call, other than ending the game sooner ?
You’re going to be in a bidding war for good players regardless. At this point another year of Walters will just cost us butts in the stands which gets offset by the BIG profit sharing. Our leadership has no issue with people pointing to us being the laughing stock of the BIG in football. At some point it will be our undoing as football rules all and we can’t afford the overhead on all the other programs without the BIG money. Bottom line we need a new ADEven though I don't see how Purdue could not let Walters go after this season, because we are still going to be lucky to win 2 games, if we are that lucky. We have games where it looks like certain players are going through the motions in some games over the last 2 years. Purdue could still balk at the $9 buyout. They might say that we sold out almost every home game this year. That would obviously change next year.
If he stays, what happens to this program? Are we set back 2, 3, 4 years? Also, who are going to have to play next year in a tougher conference each year now? The best players like Klare are going to be big targets of other programs, like Nic Scourton was, and we are not going to get into a bidding war for players. We have lost almost all of our best recruits in this recruiting class, and I don't see any of them returning. Recruits are going to know that Walters could be gone at any time. Are we going to have a team worth of transfers that no one else wants?
