Why should I care about who runs a department I want to be shutdown?
No I saidNah, you said you’d assume that he would be a cultural fit. Six rpg for a 6’10” kid playing 32 mpg is awful.
You’re right though, I shouldn’t have said he can’t rebound, just that he doesn’t. That’s the problem with him, way more promise than production.

And 6 rebounds a game doesn't equal "can't rebound."
I said it above but I think they did it for Ace Bailey…since he’s from close by. Probably a small piece of the offer to get him to Rutgers hahaBad loss, but I guess you tip the hat for playing a road game against a mid-low major school. Not many teams will do that. Probably even less now, lol.
Yep he was bad as a freshman once he hit the second half of the year. Rumor was he was injured but still played through it. What was Loyer like this last year and this year already? I see no improvement from Carlyle on his 3 pt shot. He has missed bad a lot this year. But it’s ok, he’s your guy, so he for sure will come around, right?Cool? 32% is still horrid from what I'm told.
Yep. Their two high volumn shooters played too much hero ball. They have some other nice pieces of which, if they can mesh them together for conference season, they could be a real tough team.
Cool? 32% is still horrid from what I'm told.Loyer made 59 threes his freshman year compared to 32 for Carlyle. That .6 % Loyer has on Carlyle is equal to 27 more made baskets. Trying to compare the two is kind of funny when math is actually applied. Do better next time.
If I'm the committee, Baba is toast 100%. Cool you have wins over Georgia, South Carolina and Mizzou but you also have losses to Vandy and Oklahoma in embarrassing fashion. Could Bama beat everyone in the field? Absolutely. Would they be favored? Probably over everyone not named Oregon and Ohio State. But... They lost and to 2 bad teams. They dug their own grave. A close miracle loss to Oklahoma wouldn't have hurt them so much but that butt kicking they took really did them in. Ole Miss has a better shot I think.I put Alabama 13 in my ranking. Just couldn't see anyone else ahead of them. I can't imagine they get in with 3 losses without a SEC CG appearance, but if there's more chaos, who knows? Right now I have 2 ACC teams in - and the committee will too - but will that stick? Will Indinia stay in? I have them 10th, which ends up 11th-seeded. Playing Penn State, which could be fun. Here's what I came up with, down to 24:
1. Oregon
2. Ohio St
3. Texas
4. Penn St
5. ND
6. Miami
7. Georgia
8. Tennessee
9. SMU
10. IU
11. Boise St
12. Clemson
13. Alabama
14. South Carolina
15. Ole Miss
16. Arizona St (IN)
17. Texas A&M
18. Tulane
19. BYU
20. Iowa St
21. Missouri
22. Colorado
23. Illinois
24. UNLV
Seeds/Matchups:
12 Arizona St at 5 Ohio St winner vs 4 Boise St
11 Indinia at 6 Penn St winner vs 3 Miami
10 SMU at 7 Notre Dame winner vs 2 Texas
9 Tennessee at 8 Georgia winner vs 1 Oregon
And as I type that, what a rough road for #1 Oregon.

Trying to compare the two is kind of funny when math is actually applied. Do better next time.Painter didn't have room for Carlyle even if he wanted him. And Painter isn't just going to kick dudes out to add anyone. But according to you, Loyer was horrible from 3 as a freshman.
Mabey because they have normal expectationsI'm not sure if Bobinski would admit it if he had made the decision to make a move at year end.
As for the MSU rumor, I have no idea why a MSU source would be in a position to know such a thing. Never made sense to me.
I get it but there are humans involved. There will always be bias. Just the same as there's bias that inherently favors a team that loses earlier than another, and thus has more games remaining to rise up the rankings. What do computer rankings show? That takes the bias out.
Painter didn't have room for Carlyle even if he wanted him. And Painter isn't just going to kick dudes out to add anyone. But according to you, Loyer was horrible from 3 as a freshman.lol please tell me you don’t really think IU has had anywhere near a hard schedule???
I trust paint to know who’s good and who’s not good for his system/team. And clearly Carlyle was not. Loyer is also a better shooter than Carlyle will ever be.
I have them #6. It'll be interesting to see how the committee drops Alabama and Ole Miss. They dropped Georgia pretty far after their 10-28 loss to Ole Miss and cited the offense for the drop. Bama only puts up 3 sooo... I think Miami and SMU will both be Top 10. I personally have...Georgia will make it unless they lose to Tech AND the SEC CG. Expect them to be #7 Tuesday.
Indiana has their buts saved by Ole Miss losing and Alabama getting more embarrassed than Indiana against a 5-5 Oklahoma team. BYU and Colorado losing were super helpful as well. None of them lose and Indiana would have 100% been on the outside looking in.Here's gonna be the interesting scenario as it applies to Indinia. SMU and Miami both win out, play each other in the ACC CG. Both ahead of Indinia. One of them loses. Does that team drop below Indinia in the final rankings? That's the key. The committee keeps telling us that getting to, then losing your conference championship game shouldn't hurt you. I think they're going to get dropped significantly Tuesday, but then they can beat Purdue and sit back and let other teams lose. Gonna be interesting.
If they don't fire him this weekend, then it's probably not happening. Unless they are going to wait and once again have to rush a replacement like last time. That CRW would be getting fired by reputable sources.
I guess it doesn't matter if CRW coaches the bucket game or not although I'm not sure why the love affair with Card. Unless Card has an outer body experience, I dont see him leading us to enough points to stay up with Indiana.
Probably a good thing I said I didn't know if he would be or not then huh?Crazy to assume he would have been a cultural fit.
Did he seriously cry? There’s no way that happened. I’m not interested in listening to him tbh so I don’t ever watch his pressers. I see clips and he’s just always leaning forward, almost wanting to hide his face, depressed, but he couldn’t have actually cried. LolHe cried? Lol
