So Assad is out

Biden has no idea what's going on in the Middle East. He's too busy giving away American taxpayers money to shithole African countries.
Remind me again, why did he give Angola $1B of yours and my money?
Since you were so keen to blame the problems in the Middle East on Biden, let's hear why the solutions can't be attributed to him as well before we move on.

So Assad is out

The Iranians and Russians are being pushed out of Syria. Hamas and Hezbollah have been severely damaged. Leaders taken out. Israel is destroying Assad's chemical weapons and missile batteries and moving into the buffer zone in Syria.

Does Biden get credit for this or only the blame when the world was burning?
Biden has no idea what's going on in the Middle East. He's too busy giving away American taxpayers money to shithole African countries.

Penn State 81, Purdue 70

Further schedule update on Purdue Women's Volleyball - Round of 16 against top-seed Louisville, who is host for the Regionals in Freedom Hall - Second match on TH/December 12 - 30 minutes following the first match between #2 seed Stanford and #6-seed Florida. Televised on ESPN2.

Winner of this Regional doesn't have to travle too far - as the National Semi-Finals and Championship Match are also in Louisville at the KFC Yum! Center.

Issues

He's a savvy player at times. Yes, his strength has always been an issue. Especially with very aggressive guards or at times driving the lane,

He's a player of "give-and-take".
He's a good player and a very good 3 pt shooter. but he's pretty one dimensional on offense and really bad on D. He would have be the position where the portal could have provided a bigger, stronger, more athletic guy who an still shoot and score other ways.

Berg

Berg does not complement Braden well. He can’t react fast enough to smith’a passing (why he got hit in the face), nor is he in the right spot.

Furst shows signs of being decent but then a lot of the time he is weak going up and loses it or doesn’t look to score. They’re about even, so if Furst can do other things better, he plays more.
I've been high on Berg since watching his recruiting films. I'm a little disappointed he didn't turn into that stretch Euro type who can step out an hit the 3 or midrange.
I do agree that he doesn't complement Smith well because Smith needs a big who can anticipate and be in the right spot for Smith to make plays. Berg doesn't have that in his game yet. TKR does.

Would love to hear how we ended up at Odom

And where's your boy Brohm today? I did say both The Haze and Walters weren't qualified and that Brohm would jump to Da' Ville if offered.
And Miles just plain sucked.

So not sure what your point is other than you would've picked a horrible option because he wouldn't have left for another job, of course he wouldn't have gotten another job offer either.

Trust your eyes

But what if painter thinks it’s more important to be true to his word/take care of his guys? I think he believes he can do that and still win (not 100% agreeing with it). But that seems to be his philosophy for right now
True to what word? I think Painter probably tells his current guys the same thing he tells portal guys: You earn your starting spot and PT every week.

My Weekly CBB Top 25

Oregon did lose at home, to another team I have in the Top 25 and lost on a last second shot. So no reason to hammer them too much when a ton of others lost around them. As for Purdue, they didn't just lose at Penn State and you know it. They were dominated on the road by Penn State and were also down to Maryland before a late 20-5 run. So while Purdue has been really good, like beating Alabama and Ole Miss, they've also had really low lows, like getting beat soundly by Marquette and dominated by PSU. That is just the makings of a team for the middle of the Top 25.
Marquette is a top 5 team who Purdue played on the ROAD, Penn St. on the ROAD, both Q1! Oregon's loss was a Q2 at home! Purdue is really young, I expect them to take some lumps, but at least they go and play some competition. I will take top 15 ranking, if they still had Jackobson at center they might be top 5! I think Boilers have a lot more room to grow! Alabama, Ole Miss, NC State, and Maryland wins have probably put Purdue into the tournament. Purdue is done with Penn St and Maryland unless they see them in the tournament!

Trust your eyes

Agree. But with no space last year, next year is all that matters, and if a couple guys aren't found, that's coaching malpractice. This team can be upgraded at the 5 for sure. Availability of physicalality would help at several positions.
Do you mean no space as in no scholies? If so, I think that's an error on Painter. In today's world, he should always have 2 scholies available for the portal.

Would love to hear how we ended up at Odom

He's going to be exponentially better than Walters and will have us in a bowl game soon. He did a decent job at Missouri and his rebuilding effort at UNLV was impressive. He has a much longer track record than any coach we've had in recent memory, most of it solid.
One of my favorite aspects of Odom is that he was a HC in the SEC. He knows what kind of talent and athletes you need on the field.

Can Republicans Deliver This MANDATE?

LOL if that makes your broken psycy feel better - great.

Me .....I'll take the R MANDATE.
What a butt whipping! LOL

3 things give me solace......
1. The extremist radical left was thwarted to the basement & beaten soundly by American voters!
2. Every day for the next two years.....R in control and the worthless trash left can do little about it.
2. Jesus is in control forever!!! Praise Him!!
Just deny the facts and keep repeating. It factually was not a mandate and my guess is it will be become clear before too long. Lies catch up eventually.

You invoke Jesus in the same post that you call those opposed to you worthless trash. He would be proud of you.........because since he's apparently in control of everything, he put trump in office and this is what he wanted. Christian nationalism at its finest.

College Basketball Rnakings: December 9

Purdue drops three spots this week to 11 with the Penn State loss.

That win versus Maryland was huge.

Assuming that the game against Auburn in AL is a tough task, winning this week against A&M in Indy would significantly impact this team's rankings over the next month. After Auburn, they have a string of six very winnable games against Toledo (Kenpom #209), @Minnesota (KP 111), vs Northwestern (KP 59), @Rutgers (KP 74), vs Nebraska (KP 61), @Washington (KP 104) before heading to Oregon on January 18th.

Berg

When TKR is our biggest player on the field we are at best an average rebounding team. I think it’s no secret a big part of last year’s formula for success was the sheer number of extra possessions we got through rebounding. A few minutes per game of Berg/TKR frontcourt could help in that department, and while Berg’s in there, give the guy the ball. At this point he’s hitting 92% from the floor. Not saying he needs starter minutes, but anybody hitting that percentage is just not getting enough shots while they’re in the game.

Did I mention (small sample size or not) he’s over 91% from 2?

AP Poll (week six) - Purdue at 11th

Boilers check in at 11th this week. Thought they might drop a little further.

Still a bit over ranked, but man do I love the respect the voters give Painter.
