Yes. Rumor is he wasn’t super motivated to play to start the year and seeing we weren’t great he shut it down a bit preemptively

Not money well spent but that’s Walters for you.

Knowing the NIl landscape I assume these kids asked for MORE after laying the dud they did this year.

We’ll miss guys like Klare and Thieneman but how many teams did we play this year that didn’t have stars or absolute studs and had no problems running over a lesser coached but maybe more talented team.

I think this upcoming year might be rough but if we win 4 and look competitive, it’s a step forward to revenue sharing and hopefully a more balanced $$ playing field moving forward.

Odom is probably not the hire any of us wanted but hoping he’s the one we needed.

The norm is only a few haves and a whole bunch of have nots. Lots of lousy games and many fans will lose interest. Count me as one of them.

Mendoza has some talent. Not sure what kind of talent or coaching was at Cal though. He still threw for 3000 yards. As for WR, Indiana kinda did it by committee outside of Sarratt who was the only real star. Same goes for RB. OLine is what needs bolstered the absolute most. Need some big boys to protect and open up the running holes. OLine was okayish.

To think that Mendoza will be a significant step back from Rourke isn’t realistic; both starting WRs are back four of five linemen that were starters at the beginning of last year are back, they finally have pass catching RBs, and Mendoza was really proven and accurate in the ACC.

The schedule is way way tougher, but everything else lines up.

Ok, we hate them but this Has been rather fun to watch. IU is a HUGE k-pop star and her fanbase was getting confused about the recent sudden spike in IU mentions, not realizing that they were about college football 🤣 Now, the fanbases of both IU & IU have found each other and there’s some very good and very funny videos & images coming out from both sides combining the two… 🤣🤣🤣
