Indiana did belong. Were Alabama and Ole Miss better and more more talented than Indiana and SMU? Yea probably. But neither took care of business when they needed to against bad teams. That isn't Indianas fault. That isn't SMUs fault. Alabama beats Oklahoma and they are in over SMU. Ole beats Kentucky and they'd have had a good shot at being in. Miami beats Syracuse and the same. None of them did.Lol all IU fans do when Purdue b-ball wins big ten : league is def down this year!
IU football did not belong and that’s OK.
East End Grill is my favorite place to eat.Longtime Purdue fan but I’ve never been to Mackey or to West Lafayette even. I’m considering grabbing some tickets off SeatGeek and taking my nephews (13/16) to the game against Toledo. Anything I should know before coming to town? Any parking or food recommendations? Thanks in advance and BTFU.
No I haven’t and we don’t know if they can. I have a suspicion that they aren’t given the green light to do that since they aren’t the main focus of the offense. If we are going to be successful, (and they actually are able to) they need to add it and quick.Have you seen it much the last two seasons? I haven't. At best there's an explosive drive off the fast break or to snag a rebound. What I haven't seen is breaking someone down off the dribble. Heck, I've seen Loyer do it much more often than those two and he's about five percent more athletic than I am.
From what it sounds like there won’t be “the coach talk.” Odom seems like he genuinely wants to keep as many players as possible. Problem is some guys just don’t want to compete. Davila and Browne both seemed interested in staying but then bolted within 24 hours of odom saying he wanted to keep them because he needed 2-3 really good QBs and had a transfer QB on campus and a commitment. I suspect the same with Rigby. I think we still have a lot of talent at WR still.Yes I forgot those. Plus I forgot to add the best player…the punter!
Dang didn’t see Rigby entered until now. If I was to guess the guys that enter from now on most likely won’t be back after having the coach talk I am sure.
Obviously the offers weren’t there with no tape but he probably won’t be there long either. Could have been at LSU then comes to Purdue instead for a sh*t show of a season and still doesn’t see the field.Galloway to MTSU? is that the best he could do?
Yes I forgot those. Plus I forgot to add the best player…the punter!Nick Levy, Sterling Smith, and Tra’mar Harris all were in the portal and withdrew.
Rigby entered today
Don’t be bitter lol. He’s good and you know itWhat u smoking.

That's how most teams do it. Indiana plays 9 conference games. It doesn't make any sense to essentially add a 10th. SEC teams play 8. So a team like Alabama played Western Kentucky, South Florida, Wisconsin and then Mercer in the middle of November. It doesn't make any sense for any B1G team to schedule a 10th game.1. What was their SOS before playing OSU? Serious question. I think playing OSU saved them from having a very high/low SOS. But I could be wrong.
I'm not going to argue with you about if they should have been in the playoffs. But if you don't think how they and SMU played today won't affect the committee going forward, I think you're pretty naive. Same scenario next year and Alabama, South Carolina or others will be in there.
As I said, I think IU schedules exactly like a team in their position should. Make it as easy as you can to make a bowl every year. Don't challenge yourself early, just get 3 for sure wins and then hope for the best in conference. They had a very nice year and if I were an IU fan I would be thrilled. I think if you can take off your crimson glasses you would agree they were outclassed and didn't belong in that game. But if not, that's ok no big deal.
How could he not? Granted, you would have thought that would have been clear before this season.Yes, 1 difference maker needs to be brought in, hoping Matt realizes this.
Selective applies to all Northwestern students. Your personal opinion of the worth or lack thereof of majors at Northwestern has no influence on the academic status of Northwestern University. It does however speak volumes as to your lack of intelligence. Northwestern is considered a top ten university (because of their selectivity and rigor) while Purdue is considered a top 50 institution.'Selective' does not apply to football players and legacies.
Further, selectiveness is not a measure of quality. Look at the NU website to see all the worthless or even frivolous majors that are offered.
And again, beat absolutely nobody with a pulse.Man... You really got the guy who made the CFP and went 11-2 there..
Yes, 1 difference maker needs to be brought in, hoping Matt realizes this.Like I said in another thread....prob best as bench players on a great team vs starters on what is a good team.
This team is pretty good, but for next year needs to add some starters.
I suspect that Braden is about to go on a run where he looks all world again. Hopefully some other guys step up and this team gets well over the next six games. When sets breakdown. You need a PG that can dribble drive or create his own shot against tough teams.....ours does not have that ability. He's good when sets can be executed.
