Nelson

According to my sources he is one of the best athletes his brother has ever trained....Jessie Bates included.

He said he was Mr. Football last year at his position.

Honestly, he showed me the text Kimar sent him with this information. I understand things can change and are very fluid, but it favors us with a pretty solid recruit.

DEI is dying and dead most places except in extremist liberal enclaves like Universities and leftist backwater corporations.

Besides this, another example here of it's death.....FBI closes DEI office ....

Common Sense over Nonsense.

Trump flexed, Hamas caved.. Shocker

But saying tough words ain't going to move foreign governments or terrorist organizations.
It's already happened. Trump's tough talk about 25% tariffs moved two foreign governments: 1. Canada dumped the Trudeau creature and 2. Mexico's president turned the caravans of migrants back south. And you will see Hamas cave in within the next couple of weeks.

My
Wow, you pulled the race card in like, 9 words. That's quick even for your standards.

DEI is inherently racist. Why? Because it purports that you treat someone differently simply because of the color of their skin. It's hard to believe that the people back in the day, who fought for civil rights, for equal and fair treatment, would support DEI initiatives.
My company has a DEI office which strives to create opportunities for minorities in our industry. No one seems to have a problem with it other than MAGA people. Racism still exists in our country and if you don't believe go live in the south. Most whites no idea what minorities and new immigrants are exposed to. What is wrong with trying to make life better for the less fortunate? How does that hurt you?

Bingo. "Most got to those positions because of a form of DEI called butt kissing and playing golf with the eight guys." That is exactly what I'm talking about and why DEI, or previously affirmative action, was put in place in the first place. DEI does not say hire any negro off of the street you can find. DEI is to give blacks and other minorities a chance that otherwise would not have been available. Not just about race. These folks have to be qualified. Race sure means a lot to y'all as y'all call folks DEI hires of folks that are or more qualified as their predecessors. Like Dept. of Defense LLoyd Austin for example.
Tell me how racism has hindered your personal employment experience.

You, sir, are full of crap. Racist this, racist that. I don't give a damn what color or sex a person is if they are the most qualified for the job, and continue to do it at that level after selection. In my many occupations over 50 years of employment I worked with and for both great and terrible people. Some of the least qualified were white. Most got to those positions because of a form of DEI called butt kissing and playing golf with the eight guys. I had male and female supervisors. Some were good. Some were bad. Good leaders are good leaders, and no amount of social engineering can change that. Much like the military or a sports team, good leaders produce more contented and productive employees. DEI only looks at race and sex without regard for ability and ambition. I don't care what sex or race you are. I want you to be productive and fulfilled in life. No amount of feel-good legislation can make that happen.

Any idea who Coach Painter is talking about?

Jones relegated Morton to the bench so I agree that he was offered to upgrade a position that he felt wasn’t improving.
Even if Morton had been "improving," Jones was a better player than him, and offered something no one else on the team had like him, athleticism.

It's about the team. Folks are too focused on individual players. If a big man comes in that Painter thinks is the next Edey, do you think he will say, no, I'm not going to take him because all my players are improving?

Perhaps they can but for this year, there is a set amount as it’s already been paid out. The problem is, as you add more players, the players who are already here are gonna want more money. How are you going to give a new guy a million is Loyer is only making $800,000 without making waves?

We know retention is Painters strategy so I really don’t see him dropping a bag to a new player or players without taking care of current guys first.
Of course, it's set for this year, that's not the argument. I don't think MP is going to throw around big money to bring in new players but if he did, I agree that you'd have to account for the need to 'top off' your existing core. I'm not saying what moves Matt can or should make, I'm just saying that it's unlikely to me that Matt wants to make a move next year and can't do it because he doesn't have the funds.
