Does anyone know if.....

there are NIL rules that state that another coach cant "recruit" an active player? Example: HC from Florida says to his assistant "you know, that Myles Colvin kid looks like an up and comer. Why dont you somehow get in contact with him and offer him X-amount of $$$ if he transfers to our team next season".
Is the above scenario allowed?
Kinda kidding, kinda not, but isn't anything "allowed" these days?

I don't know? But I thought Coaches are not supposed to say that ever? I assume some do, in the grey area, but NIL is not supposed to be a coaches deal. The name and likeness is supposed to be from the commercial payer for advertising is it not?

Hummel mentioned this but they are both really benefiting from an unfortunate injury. Forced us small but this is the lineup we have all been asking for. This lineup can definitely score but rebounding will be a concern. All 5 return - look out!
Once Jacobsen is back, would be pretty surprised if Painter doesn't go back to him starting once he's ready. I don't think he likes the small ball.

Indiana Getting Pushed Out?

Yeah I dunno either. I think a lot has to happen for them not to make it with Tulane losing.

Either
Indiana loses - 3% chance?

OR

A&M beats Texas tonight, beats Georgia in SEC title game, Tennessee beats Vandy on road today, SMU beats cal at home today, Miami beats Syracuse on road today. Basically no one in top 10 drops below indiana and A&M gets AQ meaning the 7th at large would be 9th ranked team with 3 AQs below indiana.
I think the key is Clemson.

Yeah his D has come into a valuable contribution where before it was non existent it seemed. I saw moments of I've yesterday. His alertness to anticipate Bradens shot missing and race to the basket versus watching the shot was something you just can't teach ...instinct.
good point, alot of guys get caught looking at a shot and not reacting, on Smith's miss I thought his instinct of going to the basket was great

When I get it going again, I'll let you know. Because it'll be love on YouTube, FB and X. Unfortunately I had to stop it over the summer because I was too busy, concerned and ultimately too tired because of radiation treatments for lymphoma (thankfully a non lethal type).
Yes, I’m a complete dick. I’ll continue to be an asshole but I do appreciate your posts and wish you the best.

my 41 yr old neighbor got that, his is stage 4, but his is doing pretty well and his Dr's seem to have a good outlook for his plight, hang in there

Walters or assistant coaches?

I don’t really like the option I feel like it’s hit or miss and contrary to our cradle of qb legacy.
Kiffin throws the ball a lot as his current QB just became the leading passer in history passing Eli Manning at Ole Miss and has another QB in the NFL he coached at Ole Miss. IMHO he fits the bill to a T and maybe interested in getting away from the Big Dawgs in the SEC.

We've seen him play well and we've seen him get "tired" very quickly. Matt's talked about his conditioning, and he certainly knows every inch of that. BUT i also see a seemingly high motor, high strung guy that seems to over adrenalize and play a bit "frantic" and with the usual result of quick exhaustion. Maybe even more than Berg, the game is happening very quickly and he's using a lot of energy on non productive movements and over reactions.
Probably pretty clear that I like Caleb and he's doing some good things for the team. But his inability to finish at the rim is hurting us. And seems to be developing into a "thing" with him. Certainly defenses are all over it if he gets it low. We need another post player that can operate to give Trey a break and let him float out a bit. Defensively Caleb is our best post defender, but Raleigh will be good in time.
i guess I'm hoping he starts getting regular minutes with the goal of having him be a factor off the bench by tourney time. Trey and Caleb may well be our best "big" lineup this year, but there's going to be game where we need to play big and 1 or both of them pick up fouls.
Im not down on Will, but the teams that give us the most trouble seem to be smaller and quicker in general, at least so far. I think he'll have some games where he's a factor.
