You just don't know how basketball works or any damn sport. You will lose games and you adjust, get better, figure out what a player needs to do or what position a player is a better fit for your system.

What I see from you and your knowledge is the typical IU fan. We are IU, we will pay for players and we will assume that we will be good.

Purdue, recruits players to the system, makes players accountable and just keeps winning.

Yea you will lose games. But this thing called the NET exist and it matters. And losing by 20 is never good. No matter what you're playing. Especially in the non conference. From a perception standpoint, also not good to lose by 20. Sure you can learn things and get better but that doesn't turn it into a great loss or even a good loss. It's still a bad loss to learn from. If your team has a mindset of "losing by 20 is a great loss" then that team is lost. I don't think Painter was in the locker room saying "great loss guys. We're gonna learn a lot from this."

He just thinks it.
He just told us that exact thing a couple of weeks ago in an interview.
Not that hearing the words from the horses mouth would convince a hoosier.
As long as there's more steps forward than backwards, you're making progress.

Well I'll be praying for your neighbor.

Honestly I got very lucky in the world of cancer. It's something I'll just always have to deal with but it's something that shouldn't kill me. Had 3 spots(2 on my back and 1 on my arm) radiated and 2 more spots popped up on my other arm. In a weird way, cat scratch fever was 100x worse because I actually got sick with that. Radiation treatment for me was just an inconvenience. I know it's way worse for others so I just never feel bad about myself and honestly forget about it a lot.
