You have to take that up to the state level department of education. They set the education standards for the state. The US Dept of Education provides the public school per student funding.

Sleep well 18. It seems like years since Purdue gave up an eleven point lead to Fresno St. I prayed after that game that the mistakes that Walters was making would be easy to fix since I could see them....
You have taken a ton of hits for remaining objective.
At the end of the day, most every person on this forum cares about Purdue football and wants a successful program.

Agreed 100%. I'm just not really confident in Bobo & Co to land a great hire, but we'll see. Silverfield and Monken would be solid if they can sell them on Purdue. Memphis was really impressive the other night vs. Tulane. Monken could instill some grit and discipline that would be a refreshing change.

I may try to get to it. Just now came in after putting in external door for garage. Hate the cold. having metal on the house roof and siding put on second story and have a 9.5 ft by 5 ft window on staircase I have to get out soon to replace with smaller 3X5 window due to seal leak. Trying to figure out how to remove it without freezing house when roofers get to it...and then doctor appt every day. Hopefully it slows down soon...and then do I transfer some amount of an IRA intro Roth this year or just wait and do it next year.

Money wouldn't be an issue, would probably need to be in the $8M range. Would need to build a staff, but assuming he's got a lot of connections to do that. Is he willing to grind it out in recruiting, NIL and portal?
He'd have an instant impact with recruits and fan base. Probably see a nice bump in NIL contributions to help him build a team.

I know this. Chuck Martin from Miami of Ohio and Chris Creighton from Eastern Michigan are two SOLID choices. Both have been through adversity and both have built Solid programs. Both programs were in a disastrous situation and they were rebuilt in a solid patient manner. There is no easy fix unless some Alum decides to kick in Big Dollars!

Love Chuck Martin from Miami of Ohio. Been through a lot of adversity. Knows how to re build a program. Solid choice.

Ty Helton turned us down in 2022. He hasn’t done that great the past 2 years. He probably needs us now more than we need him. I think we can do better but will need to pony up $

Agree on silverfield. Next tier would be chuck martin for me. Hes been succesful as a hc at two stops, turned miami around, and seens to have hit his stride as a coach the past two seasons

He’s an upgrade from Walters but I’m not sure he’s a guy that is special enough to lead us to any marked success. He’s not the same coach he was 8-10 years ago

Counting aassistant coaching he has been there since 2009.

Good thing that Walters took over calling the offensive plays for the last seven games. Three of those were shutouts.

I love martin at miami. Checks all the boxes and been around the block. Not that this matters or checks a box but he just looks like a purdue guy. Very tiller/keady esque.
