The pistol that shot jelly and the train with square wheels.....I’d imagine they didn’t get the same $ offers they did before so are leaving.

My college roommate who coaches in Cincinnati has had contacts with Odom and some of his assistant coaches. We’ll miss guys like Klare and Thieneman but how many teams did we play this year that didn’t have stars or absolute studs and had no problems running over a lesser coached but maybe more talented team.
I think this upcoming year might be rough but if we win 4 and look competitive, it’s a step forward to revenue sharing and hopefully a more balanced $$ playing field moving forward.
Odom is probably not the hire any of us wanted but hoping he’s the one we needed.
That's what Matt Light did, might be a good thing to become a left tackleThis guy is the biggest tight end I've ever heard of (6'8", 290#). Based on his stats looks like a blocking tight end. Might as well make him a left tackle.
Based on the recent NCAA decision regarding players that went to junior college, I wonder if we will get an extra year out of him.

Purdue adds UNLV TE Christian Earls from the transfer portal
Purdue has added another player from the portal: UNLV Christian Earls, a massive 6-8, 290-pound tight endwww.on3.com
Much like Sarah Palin 'word salad'.Holy lack of paragraphs Batman!
I find it incredible that a football program can get those "long-athletic" types so easy.Smith has proven he can create his own shot. But Auburns much longer athletic guys kept guarding Smith and it made it hard. You won't find dudes like that in the Big Ten.
And Nyland Green. Guessing they didn’t like getting a pay cut.Wasn’t C. J. Smith one of the highest earners from NIL just to collect splinters and piss off others who actually played ?
Yes. Rumor is he wasn’t super motivated to play to start the year and seeing we weren’t great he shut it down a bit preemptivelyWasn’t C. J. Smith one of the highest earners from NIL just to collect splinters and piss off others who actually played ?
We’ll miss guys like Klare and Thieneman but how many teams did we play this year that didn’t have stars or absolute studs and had no problems running over a lesser coached but maybe more talented team.Signed a TE from UNLV that's 6'8" 290 Lbs. This with the H Back, and the O Linemen they have have signed shows the inability to pick up a yard when needed is being addressed.
Did Catchings leaving late maybe add to him not adding someone? How could he not? Granted, you would have thought that would have been clear before this season.
Wasn’t C. J. Smith one of the highest earners from NIL just to collect splinters and piss off others who actually played ?My hunch was they were told what their $ would be, it has sounded like doom was trying to keep everyone
Considering the numbers for the Ohio St-Tenn and IU/ND games... No one is losing interest. Those games absolutely killed it.The norm is only a few haves and a whole bunch of have nots. Lots of lousy games and many fans will lose interest. Count me as one of them.
My hunch was they were told what their $ would be, it has sounded like doom was trying to keep everyoneWondering if the players entering the portal the last few days, had a talk with coach , and might have been pushed a little to enter!
he prolly watched 5 mins of their film and made up his mindDidn’t like their $ ask and he told them good luck
Login to view embedded mediaI guess he is a rich man now
Login to view embedded mediaWhy do you believe those things?
Why would OSU throw a big NIL check at him to put him on their practice squad?
The ship already sank, and we're rebuilding it. He left because of money and opportunity.
Merry Christmas to you too, was a long day for meWish everyone and their families on the board a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Complete domination by their opponents in those games.

4 team playoff first round- 17.9 average point margin
4 team title game- 20.1
BCS title- 14.6
Bowl Coalition title- 10
Bowl Alliance title- 31.7
It's almost like blowouts are kinda just the norm 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
No OL and mediocre QB. DL and LBs average at best and zero talent at CB. It was truly a team effort. So we had some pretty great players who are now going to very good teams. I’m amazed we couldn’t find a way to win more than one game.
Time for some seasoned D line and CB's to sign on..We already got 2 others from UNLV.
