I expect Purdue to win...by how many I have no idea. In that win, I'm really interested in Caleb's play. Getting a few boards, running the court and getting around 8 points or so will be welcomed. Also, his D on ball screens "may" help keeping dribble penetration into the lane less frequent. Actually, I see him improving and providing a better inside player as the season goes on and if so ...THAT will be huge in improving Purdue. WE shall see...Seems too good to pass up on. I’m expecting a double digit victory today!
My son had several tours in Iraq and N. Africa ... but Afghanistan left him scarred and with severe PTSD. possibly due to his having some-command over a battalion of helicopters. They lost two 'copters in that deploymentI can't imagine the horror you have witnessed. Reading your post took me to this last July when a young lady who really struggled dealing with what she saw in Iraq. She ran outside and took her life. I'll not post the details, but it was a tragedy on so many fronts. Many people deal with issues much larger than if someone doesn't like what someone said.
"She joined the United States Army Reserves and served as a photojournalist in Iraq with the 350th MPAD, which was attached to the 82nd Airborne, in 2003. Emily returned home a decorated Specialist who was awarded the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Armed Forces Reserve Medal With “M” Device. Following her honorable discharge from the military in 2009, she earned her associate’s degree from Ivy Tech."
Nope. Pretty large expectations based on what we Saw.Not sure I'd put too much faith in DJ being that big of an impact player next year. He's a lightweight big coming off a major leg injury with minimal college experience. Obviously hope I'm wrong, but I would temper expectations for him.
He played more of the 3-5 spot at Jeff (“undersized” at those spots for college). Wasn’t as guard oriented as he is now and we were full at the time. He didn’t have many high major offers at all.what happened that we didn’t get the local kid Barnheiser? Did we recruit him hard out of high school
He wasn't good enough. He's really developed at NW.what happened that we didn’t get the local kid Barnheiser? Did we recruit him hard out of high school
I was never impressed by the passing game Browne brought to the table. His accuracy seemed a weakness…I liked Browne and it’s a shame the past coaches ruined his Purdue career. He’s got a bright future if he can find the right system that fits his play. He brought a lot to the table and was definitely QB1 next year but obviously coaching changes and a disappointing season will change a kids mind plus I’m sure he got paid going to UNC.

He will be THE guy at NU next year, so not sure he would leave. But would be great to get someone similar to him
He will be THE guy at NU next year, so not sure he would leave. But would be great to get someone similar to himThey have 2 studs in Martinelli & Barnhizer and Leach or Berry always seem to go off on us.
If there is anyway some rich cat can bring the Martinelli kid to West Lafayette next year, that would make fans very happy. 6-7 guy that can score and rebound. Sounds like the prototype for what we need.
I would never bet. But if I did I would stay away from this one.
I’d go NU to cover tbhSeems too good to pass up on. I’m expecting a double digit victory today!
Haha they are projected as a 1 right now. They should run through the weak acc. I think we’d see them at minimum second round and prob sweet 16 if we were to be in their bracket. You just know that somehow we are meeting them in the first round of the NCAA tourney this year....
There are younger reynolds than the 2 at Purdue, Kira and SR3?!Kira the 6'5 PG is ranked #1 in Indiana girls HS BB while SR3 is ranked #1 in Indiana boys for the 2026 class. Heads up there are 3 younger ones to follow these 4 Renyolds. I am addicted to watching SR3. There will be no freshman learning curve. He is game ready now there is no higher basketball IQ unless you count Kira. SR3 reminds of E'Twaun they are about the same size and just handle themselves the same. Lowkey until they hit the court. ICYDK both mom and dad coach SB Washington girl's dad is the HC. Do not count him as a done deal. Coach Shrews is all over him and IZZO is close behind. We do have the Jaden Ivey train going for us. I would call it a tossup between these 3 schools with many more in the hunt including Duke, NC, Kentucky and Oregon.
Lolol I was thinking the same thing. It’s either the first or it has been a looooong time since we have seen him dunkThats literally the first time I've seen him dunk.
Browne leaving didn't surprise as he moved around in H.S.Interesting. Seems like he would have been in line to get at least that if he were the starting QB at Purdue, no?
Either way, I'm happy with Singleton from the little I've seen.
was all over the news out here, I'm sure w/ all their $$$ they will erect something Hilton worthyThere are several different angles available on YouTube. I always wondered why folks didn't sell these demolitions as an opportunity to Hollyweird for a scene in a anction movie (adding the required pyrotechnics, of course.) I'm thinking that may have been done with one of the Vegas old hotel demolitions?

Interesting. Seems like he would have been in line to get at least that if he were the starting QB at Purdue, no?He did get paid. An offer he can’t refuse as he was seriously considering staying here still, and would have fit our system well. Belichicks contract said he would get minimum $13m in revenue sharing, that’s more than $150k per scholarship and player and I suspect he got significantly more than average.
not me, never root for psu Go BoilersCollins is always a joy to watch. Hoping Penn State starts the basketball day off with a W. Go Boilers!!
I really hope we get him, use selling point that he will take over Smith's spot. OB52, do you think Ertel is legit?Kira the 6'5 PG is ranked #1 in Indiana girls HS BB while SR3 is ranked #1 in Indiana boys for the 2026 class. isolation is a problem with all mental issues I suspect and so I'm sure being around others with similar issues does in fact help! Thanks yeah I am sure I was not diagnosed as really it wasn't a thing back then, so I am sure a lot of who I served with had it... some of what helped my buddies was going to the VFW as odd as that sounds. You're around fellow service folks that have seen/been through the same thing you have and that goes a long way I think.
