Train Wreck. Clown Show.

I'm going to be honest with you: I just don't care what you think. I'm right, you're wrong. Sorry ... Hatred and lies is not a way to run a country, and the country is not being run well at the moment. You're part of the problem, but a minute part. Your propaganda networks, on the other hand, are a big part of the problem.
LMFAO, yes and we live in an echo chamber. What... The.... ****!!!!!

Republicans control the house, the senate, and the presidency. If they hate Obamacare so much they can repeal it. Just like they could in 2016.
The problem is there are too many "Republicans" that will never do this because they are more afraid of not getting elected again vs actually doing something good for the country.

Ironically, Trump has verifiably lied more than any other president on record.
That's absolute bullshit. The fact that you actually believe that is a testament to how clueless you really are. The media only kept track of Trumps "lies", therefore it makes it easy to call him the biggest liar. Facts are, most of his "lies" were exaggerations. They were so critical of him, but no other president because they are desperate to find anything and everything to skew the weak minded against Trump.

I have probably voted 51% of the time for a Democrat and 49% of the time for a Republican. My biggest mistake was not being stronger for Perot.

The media used to have headlines of Trump's biggest lies. I guess I was the only person who read them. Most were puffing. Trump is not Presidential and overinflates statistics to puff like we had the best this or that in history. His next biggest lies were when it is a difference of opinion. The biggest one is that the Democrats stole the election in 2020. I have given facts on how they did it, but it is so ingrained in people's minds because the media kept saying "Trump unjustly or incorrectly claimed", which would earn you an F in any Journalism 101 course. They are to report the news NOT give their opinion. If News shows say that, then people know they are news opinion shows like MSNBC, Fox, or CNN. There are times, occasionally, when Trump pulls a number out of the hat, again, a non-Presidential move. However, Trump is very transparent and is open to the press two or three times a day. Since the media dissect every sentence, I would say he is candid. Trump's main campaign promises were to secure the border, remove illegal criminals and spies, bring International Peace, rid waste and fraud from the government, stop inflation, reduce the debt, and achieve this by negotiating for FAIR trade. He has been by far the most honest when it comes to campaign promises. It is also true that he ran into obstacles that the Biden Administration laid out in January, yet IMO, he miscalculated how long this would take. The other countries are not cooperating, and I don't blame them. And I don't think he anticipated Federal Judges getting so involved. However, I have faith that the country will soon get behind him.

Compare this to Bush Sr, Clinton. Bush Jr., Obama, and Biden; and Trump crushes them. Sadly, I feel that among the five losers, Clinton was the best.
Spot on. Well said. Too bad it will fly over the heads of those that fail to see how biased and untruthful the media really is.

He not only stopped a war between Pakistan and India and saved Russia from "really bad things" happening to them, he didn't like what his tariffs were doing to China so he saved them "from a very bad situation".

What a guy. It's almost like he thinks he's running the world and only he can solve all the problems.

LOL Aaron Rupar is a hack.

Tariffs were a time limited thing to achieve a goal. They are mostly gone now.
The goal was never achieved was it. Increased tariffs on foreign steel. After Chump said that he wasn’t going to allow Nippon to buy US Steel. He allowed the merger.

You know you don't have to reply to everything. Makes you look like a partisan hack when you ignore the taco salad from trump. I mean.....you are, but it's just more obvious.

No comment on the megalomania?

Tariffs are not a time limited thing.. they are still in effect now, and Trump is actively appealing a ruling to make sure they stay in place. He also just added a 50% steel tariff for seemingly no reason other than to lash out about the recent court ruling..

Trump has literally said he expects girls to have fewer dolls and people to have fewer pencils. That is the republicans new economics policy.

To be honest the court rulings could end up being a god send for Trump. It is obviously a bad economic policy, and he can just blame the judiciary branch for it. Win for the country because it protects our economy, and win for him because he can blame the judiciary branch as a boogie man.

Right. So then explain 20m illegals that came through in droves and it being nearly shut down once Trump took over. You're the one living in Fantasyland.
My theory is that Biden pissed off Russia against Ukraine, and then allowed them to become wealthy again to invade Russia. Biden wanted perpetual wars, and this was a way to do it where he looks like a good guy talking tough to Russia, and getting Congress to send money to Ukraine, with a generous portion to the Swamp.

I had posters respond that Biden kept the same sanctions against Russia that Trump had. My research showed Biden did not enforce the sanctions.

Biden did the same thing with securing the border. He also had Harris and Mayorkas say the border was completely secured. After Florida and Texas bussed a small fraction to Blue Cities, their complaints finally prompted whoever was running the Biden Administration to enact Trump's executive orders.

Looking back, Obama did a similar thing, but then deported many with a judicial hearing. Even more ludicrous was Bush's fence bill, which Congress passed to show it was on top of the issue.

The more I post here, the more I shout THANK GOD FOR TRUMP! And yes, I still think he needs to be more Presidential.

What uh, wtf is this?

For those keeping track. Here are some more big price increases solely because of Trump’s tariffs:

In the words of mediaexpert.. THANK GOD FOR TRUMP!
Wow! Prices of toys jumped. Does that mean you will have to spend more time playing with your kids and grandkids? Can we survive? Our tariffs are still not as high as the countries that raised their prices. What do you think will happen when Americans quit buying their overpriced toys? Where are they going to sell them? Laos, Venezuela, or Sudan? America is the only country to buy these expensive toys.

The US has been in perpetual wars since 1960. It is excellent for the economy and keeps the US focused against common enemies.

In 2016, Russia and China continued their aggression and expanded their territory. However, when Trump was elected, the media predicted WWIII with N Korea and Islamic terrorists.

Trump, like Obama, drew a line in the sand. The Taliban crossed it. Trump entertained Xi for dinner, arose before dessert, and left the room. When he came back, he told Xi that he just dropped the MOAB on the Taliban tunnels, wiping out many of them. Russia and China stopped their aggression. Trump had Jung-um turn over hostages without paying a king's ransom like Obama. He got back Korean War remains after 65 years of US Presidents begging for them. And N Korea curtailed its missiles exploding dangerously near Japan and Guam. Trump then started a string of Abraham Accords.

On day one, Biden announced the Green New Deal, and oil prices skyrocketed. Biden ignores the Abraham Accords. Biden approves the Nord Stream pipeline, because apparently, pipelines in the US are destructive for the earth, but pipelines in Russia are not. Biden does not enforce the sanctions against Russia or Iran, and they both get rich. Russia has the money to invade Ukraine, and Iran has the money to fund Islamic terrorism. Did anyone notice that funding the Houthis enabled them to control the Red Sea? Remember when we had supply shortages? Coincidence?

THANK GOD FOR TRUMP!

Lol.. the only reason they are overpriced is because of the tariffs.. And these are just examples from one article. Here’s another example that I posted earlier:

The price increases include increases for tape, a fishing real, and a heating pad. By your logic, I’m guessing you think Americans should just manually hold things together, fish with their hands, and heat things with fire?

For the record, the defense of toys being a bad thing for kids is wild.

When the source is known to skew facts to push their agenda, then yes, I can attack the source.

Where do you get your news?

There's still a ten percent tariff on everyone, Russia and North Korea excluded of course. You know about the China tariffs bingo game right?
Yes, I'm talking about the big tariffs that were placed in order to strike trade deals. A 10% tariff is not Earth shattering. Most other countries have at least that much on us.

Overlooking a major factor in pricing, aren't you?

I don't quite understand your point. This is great. It's too bad Republicans do not care about the cost of goods.

Scroll down to "toys" and read about China, @Ihaveswag29 . Does that reduce your concern about kids not being able to have so many toys from China?

Think that kids could get by with fewer toys - but made in the US?

Don't quite understand what you are getting at here either. Toys are just an example of things getting more expensive. You'll see in that yahoo business link prices of over 1600 different SKUs increasing because of the tariffs, toys, while a large percentage, only had 257.

Gasoline prices have a big impact on trucking costs for goods, and thus lower gas costs exerts a downward pressure on the price of goods. Not to mention, lower gas prices mean savings for consumers.

You were saying Trump's comments on toys were 'wild', and I agree they were highly unpolitical - but to keep it in perspective for you, there are ethical considerations in buying toys (and many other products) made in the CCP police state. Child and slave labor, for example. I don't know if that bothers Trump or you, but it should.

For gasoline prices, maybe. But we will have to see what that means. Right now companies are still raising prices, so it has not led to the impact you are describing. I am also not actually sure why gas prices are decreasing. What has the administration done to cause it?

For the second one, I was responding to Mediaexpert's statement that it was actually a good thing that toys are more expensive. That is a tough position to hold, but it is in line with Trump's statements that fewer dolls and pencils will be available to American families. So it seems like Republicans are now focused on making American lives harder? Kind of seems like Republicans are trending towards Stalinism doesn't it?

For ethical concerns, yes, that is something to consider, and we should take steps to make sure the foreign companies we use for manufacturing are ethical.

I don't know any specifics in regards to gas prices. The administration may have done something, they may not have yet. I really don't know. From the quick search I did, it sounds like OPEC has increased production and gas consumption has not increased much.

Thank you for proving my case. Yes, I guess I could make a case for expensive toys that are not educational can be bad for kids. But that was not my point. My point is that toys and the other things you mentioned are not necessities. We can go a few months without them. The shortages under Biden were dire. However, the big crushing "deal" is if we did not get pharmaceuticals and electrical components, especially for our military and self-defense. This is critical.

One purpose of the tariffs is to manufacture crucial products in the US. If these products continue to be made overseas, Trump's demands on foreign nations are only good enough to a point. Putin knows we are limited in throwing around his weight because Putin during the Biden years made stronger alliances with China. Xi also recognized our limitations and gambled by unleashing the Wuhan Flu. We need to suck up higher prices until the other countries realize that the US is their most prominent market place, and they better redo their one-sided deals or go broke. Once the deals are made, we will have the money to start reducing our debt, and every citizen will have more money in their pocket, with their dollar going further. I am surprised that people cannot see the big picture. Please remember three things that cannot be changed overnight: 1. We have been in perpetual wars for 60 years. 2. We have been building there's of the world with foreign aid and one-sided tariffs for 80 years. 3. 95 years ago, immigrants came here legally to help make America better, to learn English, and to assimilate into American culture.

Within two years, our economy will be doing much better, crime will be reduced, there will be equal opportunity for all, and International peace will prevail.

It might help me understand the big picture if you explained these problems. Maybe that's what I am missing. Here are two questions:

- When you say redo the one-sided deals, what do you mean? Which deals need to be redone?
- Same with the one-sided tariffs. Which ones are you concerned about?

Within two years huh. Well, we will be able to track those things, so time will tell in time for the next presidential election.

Saudi increased production even though there is no shortage. Likely reason is that they are working with Trump to squeeze Russia on gas prices.

Using child and slave labor is Stalinism, so anything we do to reduce our dependence on the China police state trends us away from Stalinism. Right?

Not sure how China's police state has anything to do with the type of government and economy the United States is running?

You are fine with being dependent on a country that uses child and slave labor, not to mention conducting a genocide against its Uyghur Muslims? If so, you a perfect Martha Vineyard dem -- as long as it doesn't impact you, you are fine with it (just like illegal immigration).

@Katscratch (also known as DG) has gone off to sulk, but when he returns he will be proud of you.
