I did a small homestead for a few years. My best man was an AGR... became a veterinarian ... died of a brain tumor after having 4 daughters before he was 40 (and died) .... If you're N of C'ville, it doesn't look too bad now.

I lived in the Farmhouse grey house, their residential party house for a short time.
But yeah, been feeding cows and getting water and hay ready prior to the snow storm. All ready to go, and now watching SEC hoops.
Ready in the corn & bean fields ... AGRs all around me ... Sorry if I'm early, but I am SO READY!!!
I agree that a lot of the shooting issues for Cam and Myles are mental, but I don't think they need to worry about anyone being pissed off if they shoot and miss. MP stated earlier in the year that they need to pull the trigger without hesitation when they're open.Yeah I think it’s the latter a bit. I think it’s just they a bit apprehensive to shoot and miss and have everyone pissed off about it. You could see Loyer get super fired up and happy for Cam when his 3 hit front iron and then got a nice friendly bounce.
Tough to get into rhythm if you miss a shot and then don’t get another shot attempt for another 15-20 possessions/30 mins later in the game.
Offense is designed for big 3 to get them going and not the 4th and 5th guy.
Looks like Biden blocked the Nippon Steel deal to buy U.S. Steel.New YorkCNN —
US Steel shareholders overwhelmingly approved a deal for the iconic American manufacturer to be purchased by Japan’s Nippon Steel. But the outlook for the controversial merger has never looked so bad.
The deal is significant, not just for the future of what is still a key US industry central to building everything from cars to appliances to roads and bridges, it is also at the center of election year politics and relations between the United States and Japan, a major ally.
There was no resistance from Biden to this takeover.
Where's your concern about this move?
That's in line with what many were predicting before the season started, but the Alabama win may have created unrealistic expectations. We still have a good chance to be a top tier team in conference, but probably not the top team like the past couple years.
He’s the only one that stayed! Well him and Ty Rodgers (RS this year cuz he was going to get much PT)During the season last year, I thought his mom had been commenting about that he wasn't getting enough PT, so I assumed that he would move on. Seems to be a guy that likes to move around...but he stuck around and he looks like an important piece in their rotation. IL has some depth.
my only complaints. 1) this is a small complaint but there are too many teams. Football is not like basketball. 8 teams would be fine. 2) going to 8 eliminates the bye which i also dont like 3) seeding is my biggest complaint. You can give auto entries without locking teams into seeds. Also, the committee has too much power. Theyve already got a ranking system based on computer models like bball...use those. 4) nobody should have a home game.Oregon should be sitting home right now with the national championship trophy after going 13-0 while all the other alleged contenders were taking on losses.
That trophy was true through a good many of our lifetimes, before colleges went pro. The best team with the best record got the national title. Pretenders had to shut up because they hadn’t put up, even when given one last bowl showdown.
No way do 12 college football teams deserve a shot at the national championship after playing 12-game seasons plus conference final exams. That plain sucks. It’s more watered-down than the Titanic. Or the players’ academic transcripts.
What do you tell a team with two black eyes? Nothing. They’ve already been told twice. Anyone with more than one loss deserves no more than bowling in their wife-beater shirts. Three? Slink on to sweet home, Alabama. Pay back your NIL.
Oregon won every time out while Ohio State was gagging twice, including its big league showdown with the Ducks and a massive choke against a five-time loser, yet one rematch win by the Buckeyes over the understandably flat Ducks erased all that. Should an unbeaten team have to face an already conquered victim, a two-loss conference opponent, in the quarterfinal round of some damned playoffs? Hell no.
Want playoffs? Give the unbeaten Big Ten champion a mulligan to make amends for a single loss, fluke or not. Consolation bracket, anyone? Just like the playoffs are now, that would be only fair. And just fair.
OH MAN - congrats!!!! Good thing Jan didn't work out LOL~!~~Mine is only 2 years younger. We'll have 50 years in on January 25th.
Mine is only 2 years younger. We'll have 50 years in on January 25th.My wife is 15 years younger too .,.. married for 35 years
My wife is 15 years younger too .,.. married for 35 yearsYea, that’s what happens when you marry someone 15 years younger, it’s keeping me on my toes, I retired from the trades at 50
Thinking I’d have it made, ended up getting married having a kid, I know this, only going to be one lol
At 54, I had a 12, 11, and 9 --- new wife!!!!I’m 54 with a 1 year old kid, bet not many can match that lol. Little Nick might end up being a Cubs fan but there’s zero chance he’s not a Boilermaker fan!

We still have a good chance to be a top tier team in conference, but probably not the top team like the past couple years.I know we are only 1 game out.....but after watching Purdue get manhandled on the road three times and then get beat vs TX A & M at basically a home game....I have decided that we have no shot at the B10 championship. Team just isn't good enough at this time, and others like you say have the jump on us. Just hope we can improve, finish strong and make the NCAAT.

You….would em actually really like him. Even tho he’s smaller like smith, he attacks and can finish. Has a tenacity about him and a decent defender. He would have been a great second ball handler on this team with Smith.
I agree. I was fine with 64. Going to 68 was only a money grab. Pure and simple. Not that the CFP isn't but it is something that should have been done a long time ago. But if I could make it go to 64, then I'd have the power to strip conferences back down to what they were in 2003🤷Should be 64
Long way to go! We are one of the youngest teams in the country, and we will stumble here and there … plus Purdue has just had our frickin’ number lately. We have a very high ceiling and I think we are quite good, but we’ll have some inconsistencies. I think Purdue will stabilize and be near the top of the standings like always … tough non-conference schedule will pay dividends.Yes for sure. Not debating that!
So far, looking like Illinois is better built this year (I hate admitting it 😂)
Just keep on keepin' onWell in that spirit, I'm approaching 1000!
Have a jump on the BT title. Michigan State has two road wins and has the easiest schedule remaining. Michigan has a major road win @ Wisconsin and has the second easiest schedule. UCLA has a major road win @ Oregon and is by far the best defensive team, but has the second toughest BT schedule with 11 Quad 1 matchups still to play. Illinois is still a factor, but seem to be great one game and then look pretty bad against NW and have 10 Quad 1 matchups left. Purdue has 10 Quad 1 games left 5-H 5-A. Poor IU has the toughest schedule left with 13 Quad 1 matchups, 6-H 7-A. Oregon is probably toast with 2 home losses. Wisconsin and Ohio State both have a home loss.
Four was probably sufficient, but definitely no more than eight. Eight is enough. The 12 team CFP is definitely dumb. There are absolutely not 12 teams worthy of playing for the championship. 4 was fine. Hell, the BCS was fine.

You could see Loyer get super fired up and happy for Cam when his 3 hit front iron and then got a nice friendly bounce. The problem I am concerned about is that both aren’t shooting their shots in any kind of flow. Very apprehensive in considering whether to shoot. These guys are both Shooters from way back. Most shooters will just continue to take their shots when the opportunity presents even when not hitting. Makes me wonder what’s going on and why they are in their own heads. Do they figure that oh I’m not a primary option and I’m not hitting so I shouldn’t shoot but pass so they are thinking not just putting it up in rhythm?
