How can anyone defend what Drew Brees said?

Could ANYBODY be more completely ignorant on this subject than you ?
1) LESS THAN 0.1% of trans women in the US and the United Kingdom have genital surgery to remove organs.
2) Not my fault that you're too f'g lazy to spent 90 seconds googling a site that would help with your cluelessness
3) Trans women with female attire, makeup, and hair are highly likely to have undergone a lengthy period of hormonal and other drug therapies that substantially alter their physical appearance.
( PS: 6-4;230 . not real snowflakish)

Yes and you can put lipstick on a pig but?
FYI look up the statistics for the number of farmers that put lip stick on their pigs.

It is funny how you label everyone dumb who doesn't read the NY Times? With your attitude, you are the poster boy for why socialism will never work.
1) Dimwit, I''m not even that far left of CENTER, let alone socialistic.
2) Like many, I read excerpts from the NYT; Don't subscribe.

OK, you're not a numbskull.
You're our pet numbskull.

Were you in the middle of having some sort of SEIZURE when you typed
that ? What other possible excuse could you have had ??

ironically, republican policies are becoming more socialist too

Of course we'ill always have socialistic programs. We need them. I was commenting more on our friend who wants open borders, increased financial aid to our enemies, free health care, free college, trade imbalances so can open our markets etc. His reasoning is that we don't have to pay for it, the government will.

Which policies do you feel are becoming more socialistic?

more statist/socialist in nature -
many aspects of the markets/trade, and personal freedoms.

government demanding who you can and cannot do business with

increasing taxes on trade

crony exemptions on those taxes

bailouts for select industries

special deals/intervention for select companies

currency manipulation (desire for)

more quantitative easing

wanting to control the distribution of labor - aka central planning via immigration policy

reduction of individuals liberties
(asset forfeiture, eminent domain, surveillance, gun accessory bans, ....)

that's the dilemma for republicans

Yes, these are all points we can sit, have a beer and discuss. What most people don't understand is that we agree on most things. I think the media has turned everything into identity politics, where people make assumptions just because you say you agree with this minority on this or that.

I never considered Trump conservative. He would have a liberal idea like tariffs, I would study it and conclude that he was right. I am amazed how how much Trump has accomplished, but I still think it could have been a lot more except for McConnell and Ryan.

On the other hand, while I think Warren is a complete radical, I like her ideas on how to fight corruption. Trump has brought it up, but we need to work together and get many of these ideas implemented.

While he has been able to maintain a strong stock market, what in addition to that do you assert to be his accomplishments?
Please, do not include the appointment of Federal judges since that is nothing more than a function of being of the same political persuasion as a attack proof Senate segment.
The overall economy is hardly operating optimally as is seen in this Markets Insider article warning of a potential slowdown.
Unifying the country???
Tax benefits to the middle and lower income???
Controlling medical costs and making insurance readily available???
Trade balance???
Deficit control???
He had both houses of Congress for 2 years and produced very little legislation, and what is pending that the Administration is pursuing???
EDIT- And today the Fed temporarily loses control of its own benchmark due to instability.

1) " Accomplishment" amazement ? Wouldn't know where to begin.
2) Paul Ryan: intelligence, integrity, and invaluable barrier to the Freedom Caucus nuts.
3)Trump has "brought up" fighting corruption ? Correct. On many occasions.
You might notice, however, that the subject of corruption, in Trump's eyes, is limited to, and ONLY to, "corruption"on the part of his political adversaries.
100%. Suggesting that there might need to be an investigation of President Obama's recent book and Netflix deal should enlighten EVERYONE about his concepts of " corruption ".

I could write a string of successes, but I have to get to bed, so I will say the most obvious first. Anyone who studied economic cycles, knew it was obvious, we were heading for a recession in 2017. IMO, Obama knew this and that is why IMO, he said (to protect Hillary) that annual GDP growth of 2% was not happening for a while. He also derided Trump by asking with what magic want will he make jobs appear. Well I sell to small businesses and knew they were declining. President Trump reversed this with many significant moves. The biggest ones being getting rid of a string of red tape bureaucracy that was killing small business. Most people had no idea. They thought it was ta cuts, which enabled many companies to move back to the US and many more to invest in America.

Again, I call on small business and consult with them, so I see with my eyes rather than listen to what the media reports inaccurately.

So, his list of successes consist of an anecdotal assertion of a claimed economic turnaround for businesses to whom you sell by virtue of the removal of unspecified regulations. Gotcha. Apparently I will need to spend some time reviewing that exhaustive evidence and likely rethinking my vote.
