Indiana is a rival that no matter what, you have to step up and play. In rare cases, underdogs in this series have won.
'86 & '89 Purdue Boilermakers come to mind on our side. I don't want to research & report IU's, but they have had our # as well. History builds up the moment. For some of our young men, this is the last of the rivalries they'll ever play in minus whoever we play the following week. That game likely has no rivalry to it.

Coach Brohm is not a bad coach. It didn't happen overnight that we became a bad team. Something has happened within this season and most of us general fans are left wondering what it is? Special Teams and Defense has been a let down after NW and still seems to let the lingering hangover continue.

Let coach Tiller's tenure and record against IU sink in and realize from ~ '04 to '08 how unhappy the fanbase was. How spoiled were we? With lack of funding, time and again Joe was able to pull the rabbit out of the hat near the end of a season.
Coach Brohm has done well thus far against IU. Everyone including myself is expecting this game to be an L, that is all the more reason to POTFH! BTFU young men and make a great game of it! Best of Luck.
