Could get U-G-L-Y if Purdue plays like they did last night and IU gives a lackluster no-hustle stand around performance with no outside shot.

The two differences will be:
1. It will be loud to the end (per Jones post interview, "louder at Mackey")
2. It will be packed to the end with die hard, team supporting, energetic fans that LOVE their team (no walk outs at the 5 min mark).

Good chance their season is well over before they arrive on February 10th. That might make them more dangerous because they will have absolutely nothing to lose.

They have Wisconsin and Illinois for back to back road games then Iowa at home to finish up January along with OSU on the road before they come to Purdue.

Would love for that to be the game where
Loyer, Smith and Zach are firing on all cylinders and we rest them with 5 to go.

IU fans prob will complain about their scheduling and that it’s unfair

IU will claim the "West" is easier and that Purdue benefits from scheduling easier teams in non-conference. Oh wait, that is their other program.

IU should worry about beating who is on their schedule first, then look to improve from there. If you play against and beat up on high school teams then you will learn nothing about your team. Go play the schedule Purdue has this year and you will gain valuable experience that should pay off come March.

If IU loses their next 2-3 games then their season is over.
