I'm definitely for Florida over UConn. I'm not much for the SEC love fest, but I guess that's the price for sending the Dan Hurley hubris bus packing.

Just remember, folks, Connecticut has dominated college basketball for the last 30 years!!!

Florida incredibly sloppy so far.

Tend to agree - some good strips from Connecticut too but they've seemed a little out of control.

As much as I think he's a jackwagon, Hurley has his team competing early on......but he is nearly exhausting to watch in constant amped up mode to the officials seemingly every time down the floor. Maybe Courtney Green will "T" him up? Can dream, can't we? Haha.

Connecticut came to play. I can't say I really have a problem with Connecticut as a team, it's more their insufferable coach.

It's an 8/1 game. Probably won't be a beat down. Hopefully, Florida will steady themselves and gradually assert control.

Courtney did take his arm and push him a bit towards the bench when he went out on the court

Gosh, I hope Florida wins so that we do not have to watch that emotional freak on the U Conn sideline the rest of this tournament.
Would be a shame if a controversial call went Florida’s way at the buzzer to win…Hurley wouldn’t be able to to contain himself

Florida needs to assert themselves to start the second half and take control.

On the women's side: #10-seed Oregon is hanging in there late in the 3rd quarter at #2 seed Duke. 36-44 under 2 minutes left in Q3.

NAH! IU has won every Summer Championship the last 30 years!

Really good action in this game - both teams having issues but competing. Connecticut doing better with more of the little things - often the difference in these contests.

One point game with 5 minutes to go!

Can’t believe some of those fouls called against Florida. Guy lying on the floor and UConn trips over him and it’s a foul. Guys with the ball ramming into the defender its a foul. How does one play defense anymore?

Florida let this get just a little too interesting in the last 20 secs but prevails with a really good final five minutes, 77-75.
never seen such a poor foul shooting team for a top team. can't stand Hurley beyond annoying. This was probably the 5th time I 've watched a UConn game this year and in every game that Karaban guy shot poorly, don't understand the Pro talk about him

He's so one-dimensional. Hit a big 3 after Florida did to put them back up 4 I think, but other than that, nothing.

That was a bad break but absolutely a foul.

Tend to agree.....the one I thought was an incorrect exchange was on the missed dunk.....Florida player's leg got clipped slightly but should have been called......then the resulting 4th on the big man for just turning around.....looked a lot worse because the Connecticut player couldn't absorb the contact without tumbling to the floor.

Florida survived and advanced, most importantly.....maybe that's all it needed; maybe not. Get the Maryland (4)/Colorado State (12) winner in San Francisco next TH evening.

Gillis in for Duke. Rooting for the kid, but since my wife is a UNC alum, it's hard to root for the team.

Can we get any more shots of Liam McNeeley's mom and her shiny face?
I thought it was a little odd when they went to her and she was smiling and having a good time and the "team" was behind. Not saying it is wrong to just enjoy whatever the moment holds, just that most people with some sort of tie to the team wouldn't be so joyous...

Dang, Illinois. Every time the Illini look like they're back in it......here comes a mistake. Down 15 now with 10:00 left.....better make another run soon. If Kentucky closes this out, would be a chalk Regional in Indianapolis - top 4 seeds.
