James had a very pedestrian game vs Zionsville. Took him 21 carries to get 100 yards and he was not even the team leading rusher. Never found the end zone in the high scoring game. Then the same weekend decommits and

You do realize stats back up the fact that he's had a worse senior year than junior year right? It's not difficult to see that. And it's laughable to claim he's one of the best to EVER come out of the state. It's simple: His junior year numbers were better than his senior year numbers. Is he a good player? Absolutely and I'd love to have him at Purdue. But he's having a worse season this year than last.

If you are cherry picking rivals scores why don’t you use their ratings instead of stars? Because Purdue hands down smokes Indiana. The rivals ratings use the top 20 commitments for the overall points and Purdue has 5 2* guys. The star rating uses all of the players committed. Once Purdue finishes the class with some higher ranked players, the 2* guys will drop off and the points will look much better. Make sense?

Cam Williams was going to Purdue for months. If Purdue could take him, he’d already be committed. One huge problem - he won’t likely qualify due to grades and test scores. Iowa is having troubles with him on this too. Does IU have a lower standard than other BIG schools?
Pola-Gates is going to Alabama and if not them an Arizona school. Rivals shows him as Low for IU. Nice try.

Historically, Purdue destroys IU. That’s not even up for debate. IU is one of the worst programs all-time in NCAA history. That’s a fact.
At least Purdue knows what winning bowl games feels like - last year. IU hasn’t won a bowl game in 27 effing years - 1991. IU hasn’t had a winning season since 2007. Purdue - last year. IU has won 3 bowl games in 11 tries. Nice. Purdue has won 10 bowl games in 18 tries.
I’d also relish IU’s nearly 200 games below .500 all-time record and 2 conference titles - the last one in in 1967. You must be proud.

I have zero idea of who Avon lost last year but it is not uncommon for a teams best player to havea worse year if the talent level around him goes down, especially in football. Look Sampson may not turn out to be anything, but PU would take him in a heartbeat the same as they did Moore when he decommitted. Comparing Purdue historically with IU just shows your total lack of understanding. IU ranks with programs like Rutgers and Kansas as the all-time worst in history. IU is damn near 200 games BELOW .500 all-time. Purdue is quite a few games above .500 all-time.
First I never compared IU and PU, saying they both suck is just fact. Comparing would say PU sucks more than IU just so you are aware. Now in my lifetime which spans a few decades PU overall has sucked, not sure the percentages or anything like that (because I don't care) but from a fans perspective they suck.
Hell I live near the Kentucky boarder and if you asked UofL or UK fans about PU they probably had to think long and hard to remember they have a program. Now on to the UofL talk, you guys better hope Bobby P starts winning or it could get interesting for you all in the off season. Now that would definitely let UofL fans know that PU has a program.
I think a big difference between those guys and Purdue’s top remaining targets is the fact that outside of Williams (who is a question mark academically), IU isnt seen as a leader for those guys. Purdue is considered a leader or right near the top for Milton Wright, David Bell, Jalen Graham, and JJ Weaver. Does that mean they’ll land them? Of course not. But the odds are good they’ll land at least a few.
Remember when purdue was getting these recruits and having 8 and 9 Win seasons? Your whole board wrote us off as a middle of the road big ten team.. when we all know if you got to 8 wins and beat us by 49 you’d be acting like you were the super bowl champs and we were an intramural flag team... you know that right
