The ladies lost to Minnesota today 3-1, finishing a second straight year where they were winless in Big Ten play. They are 0-15-5 the last two years after going 8-2 and making the NCAA Tournament in 2021.

I don’t follow soccer much at all, but I did know that they made the NCAA tourney 2 years ago. And that 2 of those players went on to play for pro teams (Chicago and NC if I remember right).
What has happened that they’ve fallen off so badly? This seems like a massive fall off to go from NCAA Tournament to winless in the Big Ten.

Two years ago they had the Big Ten Player of the Year in Sarah Griffith,w ho had a school record 16 goals. Maria Bova was also excellent in net. Since then the offense has really struggled. They have had some flashes like last year's upset of Pac-12 champ USC, but in Big Ten play they can't get it going.
